Did not have a good experience with this caterer. My company hired them to provide breakfast and lunch for 80 people as a seminar we sponsored. Breakfast was an hour late! Once breakfast was set up, the coffee was cold and there was not enough food. At lunch, instead of having cutlery neatly rolled in a napkin or placed in cups, it was haphazardly thrown in a platter. There was not nearly enough salad dressing. When I asked the caterer who was there for more she replied, "Well we brought 4 bottles". I did not choose the food for lunch and I did not find it to be very good. There was huge chunks of chicken in a creamy sauce. The chicken was dry and tasteless. There were also big chunks of beef with tons of onions. That dish did not look very appetizing but the beef aaas tender and it tasted better than the chicken. I did not try the ziti or the potatoes. Culinary Affairs had a complete disregard to detail. When a caterer is late that is a poor reflection on me and my business. The quality of food and presentation certainly did not make up for the tardiness. Never again. read more

My experience continued with wonderful customer service during the booking. The food itself, which was for a catered group of ~30 with 3 entree choices, was delivered on time and was really well cooked. My expectations were exceeded and I look forward to using them again. Yohanna was a dream to work with. Our wedding tasting was outstanding, so many choices and all delicious. She went out of her way and gave me tips to make sure my wedding ran smoothly. They were easy to get a hold of and accommodating when I needed changes. At the wedding the wait staff was phenomenal, they were happy to help and be there. The food was outstanding and she even made sure we had some appetizers waiting for us after our photo shoot during cocktail hour. Everything went flawless! I cant believe how amazing it all turned out. We were very pleased with their service and will use them again. Everyone was friendly, on time, no mistakes, professional and super TASTY! I found Culinary Affairs in this website for a Holiday party I held in December 2017. Called them and immediately I knew it was going to be good. Yohanna was very nice, helped me with the menu and even came to the event with the waiters. All three Yohanna, Cesar and Victoria were very nice, helped me and served everyone with a smile. Now the food... I did not know what to expect and to my surprise it was excellent. We had Boneless short ribs, crab stuffed Grouper, 3 different sides and salad. The appetizers were also very tasty and easy to eat while mingling around. Our glasses were always full. I would use them again and recommend to anyone. Thanks guys!!! read more

Culinary Affairs Catering is a family owned & operated business that can efficiently & flawlessly cater any size party with a very flexible menu, that can include just about anything. The company catered my son's Bar Mitzvah party where the number of guests exceeded 100. Our buffet included a sushi station, a made to order pasta station, a meat carving station, and a separate kids-friendly station, among others. Every single item was fresh & very tasty. Everyone in my party was impressed with the quality of food. I also need to compliment the company crew on their professionalism. The service before, during, and after the party was impeccable. I have ordered from Culinary Affairs multiple times for company meetings and seminars. The menu is perfect because there are many options from Italian to Chinese to Latin to American, they have even made special dishes for our vegan/vegetarian attendees. Any time I need some variety for an event they make it so easy to pick and choose dishes and the presentation is very impressive, the food is always on time and perfect temperature. Overall, good food. Ordered three daily meals for a corporate group. Experienced many catering slip ups, from missing items to incorrect orders altogether. My firm gives them plenty of business, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt after two weeks of this incompetence. The third week was no better. We were provided one free meal after all of this, but it doesn't make up for all of the drama these mistakes caused. read more

Culinary Affairs has catered two events for me and both times the food has been delicious and working with the company has been flawless. I had to increase the amount of food two days before the event and Culinary Affairs was able to accommodate with no problems at all. It is also very easy to get in touch with Culinary Affairs. I highly recommend this caterer. I used them for my wedding October 1st. The owner Dominick is super sweet and really cares about his clients. After his initial taste testing, we asked to try his Cuban food selection. He set it up immediately for us. The food is amazing! We had a Cuban buffet for our wedding. The fiocchi is a MUST! He even made us a plate of it after the tasting because my husband and I loved it so much. Dominick is very easy going and reasonably priced. He helped us find the cheapest priced linens for the reception. He always got back to me quickly through text or email when I had questions. We forgot to mention to him we were doing a toast during the reception and didn't realize it until the day of the wedding. He went out of his way to make sure we had enough champagne flutes for the toast even though it wasn't in the contract. He also provided a bartender, whom everyone loved. His catering staff that attended the wedding were very nice and accommodating. Dominick and his staff kept asking throughout the whole night if there was anything they could do or get for us.
