As the name suggests, it's a Christmas themed store that truly does justice to Christmas. It may actually be adequately name the nutcracker store as the selection of nutcrackers here is unlike anything I've ever seen. Do you need a nutcracker it looks like the mouse from the ballet? Got it! Do you need a center nutcracker? We've got that too. Do you need R2-D2 his nutcracker form? Not a problem. They've literally got an entire wall of the store dedicated to any and all things that will crack nuts for you. If got plenty of other Christmas related goodies as well including expensive ornaments and other Yuletide pleasantries. To that end, it's an OK place to bring your kids in, but you have to keep an eye on them as just about everything here is very breakable and often outside of a container. I can imagine the you break it you buy it rule comes into play a lot here, but it certainly shouldn't dissuade you from coming and checking it out. Since this is probably the place that Santa comes to shop, you probably should too.

I was impressed by their eclectic collection of unique and culturally inspired items. The store has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, and things are artistically displayed . From handmade crafts to global artifacts, the store offers a diverse range of gifts that celebrate different cultures. We ended up finding quite a few fun things that made great presents . The items range from candles to jewelry to blankets to hair clips... and it's all great curated pieces. This trip I bought a lovely pair of earrings, an incredible room spray I can't even explain the gorgeous scent of, and a little gift for my friend. The shop is conveniently located in the Obertal Mall, directly across from the Obertal Inn where we were staying, which made it an easy and fun stop. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Nicole, who was incredibly friendly and helpful while we browsed and decided what to buy. The store has an amazing variety of items, ranging from nostalgic candies from childhood to locally made popcorn, pancake mixes, hot sauces, magnets, and so much more. There's truly something for everyone. We ended up spending a good 30-45 minutes exploring because there was just so much to see. In the end, we walked out very happy with our purchases and glad we stopped in. This is definitely a must visit if you're looking for thoughtful gifts, local goodies, or a little something fun to take home.

My only "complaint" was that the bookstore hosted a local author signing the night before and while they had the third book in stock (signed!), they were sold out of the first in the series, which I would have bought had it been in stock. The store carries toys (lots of stuffed animals), clothing, magnets, greeting cards, souvenir items and even garden gnomes! The owner is friendly and helpful and prices are reasonable.
