John, the owner, could've gouged me for a lot more money like most dealerships would have and I never would've known. Instead, he was honest and straight up. Had the problem figured out in about 10 min, told me to go buy the parts myself and save their markup, and it would be an easy fix he'd have done in about half an hour. True to his word, I was in and out, and all for an EXTREMELY reasonable cost. I also have a cracked driver's' side mirror that I've been avoiding fixing as it was too expensive through Mazda, but I've now ordered one through Apple as I know it'll be another fast and easy fix. Being new to Nanaimo, so happy I lucked out finding these guys on my first repair and can't recommend them enough. Love "service" businesses that get that taking a little less up front almost always guarantees long-term relationships in the end. I will definitely use Apple for any other repairs and wanted to take a minute and commend them for their excellent service, rates, and honesty. You generally assume you're being screwed somehow when it comes to most car repairs. Really nice to leave an auto shop with the exact opposite feeling. Keep up the great work!

Budget Glass repaired a frameless shower door closure that was not purchase from them. Budget Glass diagnosed the issue, ordered the correct parts and reinstalled the door. The door now functions perfectly as it was intended. The staff are friendly, professional and experienced. Then with the window purchase, Mike worked really hard to schedule Butch to come out to measure at as early a date as they could make it, then scheduled me very quickly after the windows arrived. Again, this is scheduling for an Island visit. Butch's measurement and assessment of the situation was careful and precise, so much so that when he and Derrick came to install, it was smooth and efficient. AND they cleaned up beautifully afterwards. Meanwhile, the office team of Melanie and Tasha were always helpful on the phone taking and confirming orders. He said just let me have a quick look under the hood. He found that my air filter had not been put back properly and that is what was causing my issue. He was out at my car for about 45 minutes he said the car seems to be running much better now. He also said let us know if you have any problems and we will book you an appointment. Even though he was thorough in his inspection, the source of the leak evaded him on that initial service call. He was totally perplexed and unsatisfied not to have found the leak. We were advised not to use the propane in the trailer until the issue was resolved. Undeterred, Ian was adamant that he was going to find the source of the leak, so he returned twice more, concerned for our safety, wanting to uphold his reputation, and save us a costly visit to the dealership. We were happy and relieved when the problem was finally identified and repaired - I don't think any other service person could have had better success at finding it sooner. Ian was very fair with what he charged us. He's personable and sincere. We will use his services again if need be.

I have called and followed up repeatedly because I had an upcoming appointment with a specialist I had to get to only to be assured they will call and they didn't. Out of all the times I have tried to give them business I got one quote for $500 that was only a $300 repair at the OK Tire near by. Too busy and unreliable if have any kind of schedule of your own. I don't normally say anything against a local business, I just take my business elsewhere. The last straw for me was the owners wife break checking me on the main road out of town and almost caused our local bus to rear end my vehicle because she was going 20km under the speed limit.
