As first-time home-buyers the idea of purchasing a home was absolutely daunting for my wife and I. Fortunately we had Ngan La and her team at Cullinan Luxury by our side every step of the way in order to make the process as quick and pain-free as possible. Ngan took the time to learn about us and our lives and she had such a friendly demeanor that we didn't feel like we were just "clients." Ngan thoroughly discussed with us what our requirements were for our dream home, our budget parameters, ideal location, et cetera and she expeditiously got to working on our behalf. We had the pleasure of having Ngan as our agent for approximately 1 month before we ultimately received the keys to our own home. During this month Ngan was able to find multiple prospective homes (some which have not even been listed yet) that met our stipulations. Along the way my wife and I were obviously browsing online for possible houses as I'm sure most buyers are also doing by themselves. Whenever we found a listing we were interested in, we simply sent Ngan the link and she got back to us within the same day (sometimes within hours) WITH the full disclosures for each property we liked. As first-time homebuyers reading these long disclosures for homes can be a bit harrowing. However with each disclosure that Ngan sent, she also provided a breakdown of the fundamentals and more importantly-- the cautionary points for each property. I came into the search for a new home with little to no experience and knowledge of the real estate business. One of the few things I did know was that California had one of the toughest housing markets and the Bay Area specifically was a prime example. I had 3 months left in my lease when I contacted Cullinan Luxury and in the very first meeting I had with Ngan La, who worked with me throughout the whole process, she told me that was more than plenty of time to find something I liked and move in. I honestly did not believe this could happen in such a short time and was already dreading to pay rent month-to-month while searching...but lo and behold 2 months in I find myself with the keys to my first-ever property which I couldn't be more excited about! In the space of a month and a half, I went through the daunting cycle of listings, showings, and disclosures but Ngan guided me through it all in a way that never felt overwhelming. Properties move fast, but it seemed that Cullinan moved faster. Each showing was a step forward to hone in on what I was looking for in a home and what my price range should be and sure enough Ngan was able to suggest better and more tailored listings very quickly.
