There's a special for toddlers on Tuesday mornings, so we thought it was the perfect time to give it a try. This is a play center for 1-10 year olds, but seems best suited for those under 8. It isn't a jump park-- it is a true play area with ball pits, a dress up area, art room, playhouse, and much more. There is also an air hockey table, which the older kiddos would enjoy. My 4 year old had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave even after almost 3 hours there. Mr. JB at the front desk is the epitome of customer service, doing everything from welcoming guests to wiping down surfaces on the ballpit. He even came around to check on us and tell us about the facility. So happy to see and support a locally owned business in Hixson, and especially one that seems to be doing it RIGHT! Can't wait to get in for another visit.

It's funny that your prices are the same as the neighboring skating rink in Chattanooga; which is…read moreclean, modern, has brand new rental skates, has real skate music, has a mostly smooth floors, and is a good family rink. Roller Coaster is stuck in the 1970's, is dirty, has never been renovated, and is very run down. It's sister rink in Cleveland is just as bad (It's the same family running both rinks into the ground). Even the floor needs resurfacing badly (Despite some other reviewer's comments). There is a difference between being an "older" rink and being a trashy, dirty, unmaintained rink. Sorry, but a rink ran so poorly deserves to go out of business and let someone else do the job right.

The rating system could use a little tinkering imo. There seems to be a big jump in difficultly between some of the colors which was a little disheartening and I was a little offended by the names assigned to the different skill levels when I went. The space here is huge. Good sized bouldering area with no climbing boulder in the middle. This allows you to see the whole climbing area which is different and I'm sure it makes it a great venue for bouldering competitions. There is a really really nice advanced climbing area with a large spray wall and a few techie boards like a Moon board and Kilter board. I wish I had these in my local gym and this is definitely the nicest training area I've seen in any gym so far. There is a decent sized weight training area with free weights. The restrooms are pretty nice as well. Beside the normal restroom things you will also see showers, a changing area, and even a little area made to wash your feet. I didn't get to explore the Ninja area but it did look pretty realistic, challenging and fun. The people who work here are nice and helpful; I regret not spending more time talking to them and gaining some climbing wisdom. All in all this place is catered to upcoming and experienced climbers. A little surprised to see no top or lead climbing with a gym of this size. If I was new at climbing I might find this gym to be a bit challenging.

It takes a lot for me to get up and drive to a gym but I do feel in some way accountable if I'm late or don't show for a class. Most of the trainers remember my name and help me one on one with the types of workouts that I'm not familiar with. I'm only in my first week but I feel things are looking up. Just because I don't enjoy working out doesn't mean I don't enjoy this place. For now I'm happy and giving this a 5 star!
