I would have given this place 5 stars, because Zaya was a wonderful hair stylist, but towards the end, someone came in (I believe his boss?) And he was drunk and we were all a little uncomfortable after that. Never had that happen at a hair salon before. Not very professional. Welcoming atmosphere, along with gracious and friendly service! I'd definitely recommend CULT to anyone looking for a new 'do! My partner and I have both had our hair cut and styled by Sierra. On my first visit I expressed that I either am anxious or clueless about what style suits me. She took the time to listen and offered suggestions, and always checked in to make sure it was progressing as she cut. I was looking for a last second hair make over (by this I mean I had from Saturday morning to Sunday morning to get my hair done for my mom in laws bday party Sunday night) and I got lucky with an opening at Cult Hair Studio & Spa! I was given a price when I sent pics through Yelp of my hair and pics of what I wanted done, it gave me the opportunity to accept or decline if it was in my budget or not. I was set up with Katie and I'm so glad she was my stylist because for one she made me feel like she really cared about what my hair would look like and for two because she did an AMAZING job on my hair I've already gotten a lot of compliments on it and it hasn't even been a whole 24 hrs yet ! I appreciated her recommendations on after care and products she recommends and she was just an overall awesome stylist I would highly recommend her and I'll be seeing her again for my next visit with either a retouch or a change of color! Sierra K at Cult is absolutely a color genius. I have been going to her for almost two years now. She's taken me through everything from vivid colors to natural looking colors. I change my mind a lot and somehow Sierra is able to transform my hair into my latest dream. There have been times when I went to her with a specific idea, and she made it happen. And other times I asked her for her suggestions and she always came up with something I loved. Most recently she took me back to my normal red color, and let me tell you, that's one of the hardest colors to get right. She nails it, and my color has never looked better. She's also currently doing my extensions, using Hotheads tape in extensions, which I love. I have very fine, thin, fragile hair and Sierra has protected the integrity of my hair. You would think with as much as I've changed my hair that it would be damaged but it absolutely is not. She also gives great cuts that keep me looking stylish and make the most of my texture. I had been a long time hair DIY'er. No more, not since Sierra has been doing my hair. That right there says a lot about how much I appreciate how good she makes me look. Plus, she's hella stylish, totally non-judgmental, and fun to talk to! read more

While I liked the haircut and style I received from Raul, his customer service gets zero stars. When I scheduled another service with him, he cancelled last minute stating there was a mixup and his chair was being used. That is understandable, so I wait two weeks, and the day of I show up and he sends a text saying he "forgot", even though he received texts from me earlier that day with the color I was thinking to get. When he offered to reschedule a third time, I ask when and he just doesn't respond at all. Super disappointing. read more
