My wife and I found ourselves in the area due to an emergency, and needed a room for the night. She looked online and found this hidden gem. Us raising kids the last 20 years we both completely forgot about 21+hotels! Our stay was short, but we would have enjoyed it more had it been longer. The spa, pool, the bands, the Smoke Room, the gym, the view from the area on the roof, all looked to be interesting. And I loved our room; it's like someone time-traveled and took only the cool art deco things to dress up the rooms! Everything was "just enough" if that makes any sense. Yes, we heard some neighbors, not to mention the smoke smell, but yeah. No biggie. Definitely worth looking into!

If ever stay at the Clarendon Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona, you're in for a culinary treat at their hidden gem of a restaurant, Azlin. Every dish I've tried has been uniquely flavorful and absolutely delicious ( second time staying here) The chef's mastery in crafting rich, well-balanced flavors is truly remarkable. It's a place that deserves far more recognition, and I hope more people discover this exceptional dining experience. I haven't checked the reviews, but if food lovers haven't raved about it yet, they certainly should!

Nice pool not busy. I did not get in , but nice to hang out at night. The place is old, but they tried to give it a face lift; poor job, the entrance door floor needs help. Poor lighting in the restroom. The bed was comfortable and big.small restroom. I saw a small roach in the restroom in the middle of the night, I killed it; I wish I had a picture. I believe my window is near the outside speakers so later in the day they play loud music all day. The neighborhood is nice ,you can get to anywhere in minutes .My husband is tall and 204 lbs so the bed was a big deal.If I choose to come here again, it would be because of the bed.

Overdue review from the last trip. We picked this hotel because it's quite close to Hubby's niece. The hotel is nice and pretty from the outside. The front desk is small, and there's no specific lobby area where guests can rest in the lobby. If they need rest, they have to go straight to the room. However, they can relax in the lounge area where the restaurant is, but the lounge is loud at night due to live music. The room is alright because they use Dr. Meyer's hand soap. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were good products, although I wasn't sure what brand they used for these. My skin can't handle certain products with chemicals, so these are good. The body towels are smaller than regular towels. The air conditioner or heater is ok, but I prefer a quieter one. The breakfast burrito was amazing. It was a mini-size burrito, but the way they prepared it was one of the best. I couldn't believe that I could have the best burrito here. They give out burritos at the front desk. The front desk staffers are helpful and friendly. Beautiful pool!

Pros: The pre check in made everything more effortless and quick. The staff was quick to check me in and super friendly. The lobby did not smell like cannabis! The pool appeared cleaned and my room smelt like cleaning supplies. The bed and pillows are so comfortable I had no trouble falling asleep. The shower had great water pressure and the water was hot!! Cons: The standard room (non cannabis room) appeared nice, however, on further inspection, I noticed water stains on the walls and a crack with badly applied plaster. The AC is loud and sometimes it would squeak. My room did not have a dead bolt so it was missing that extra sense of security. The room was dark, I only had two lamps that worked. The light between the room and the bathroom needed a lightbulb change as it would not turn on. If you wanted snacks or water you would have to go to the lobby. I had a chair but no desk. Lastly, I was missing the amenities such as a microwave or in room coffee pot. Fee transparency: 22.50 destination fee per day. 10 dollars to park (free if you park on the street!)

My fiancée and I stayed at the Clarendon Hotel and it was a horrible experience. This place is perverted and nasty, because they will video tape and take photos while you are in bed. What they call 420 or smoking rooms on 2nd floor are rigged with cameras. We were sleep and woke up to flashes from a camera then complained to the front desk and they did nothing and were not surprised. I filed a complaint with manager with no response. I now have a class action lawsuit and if you had a similia experience then join me in a class action law suit by contacting : Law Offices of Bertrand Russell Jr. Contact Info 2500 E. Thomas Rd. This place prides itself for being an adult only, over 21 cannabis boutique hotel. And you are paying for that experience. Why do you need a hotel room that offers you only one chair, an iron with no ironing board, only two hangers for clothes so you and your friend could share? Some people want a telephone and drawers,or a fridge and an ice bucket, but why? This amazing boutique hotel has an unforgettable room! The concrete wall, and laminate flooring exudes boutique. The sound from the air conditioner and outside activities, let's you know that your money is worth it here when you choose to stay with them. Our bathroom is supplied with boutique dove products. The shower curtain is hung low, so that it drapes in the tub for you to enjoy. We love the marks left on the shower walls, and imagine what fun times were had here. Definitely check out the wires under the desk in your room, it is a piece of art that rivals the ones displayed on the walls. The Clarendon boutique hotel deserves to be a staple for those who seek a hotel room that is rented out by the hour, instead of the night. Great water pressure and the hot water is supplied with little time waiting. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, two cans of beer for $14 or mixed drinks at $14 each. Bottle water is $2 in the lobby. We did locate a Safeway supermarket nearby and purchased our necessities and libations. Thank you Clarendon for this unforgettable experience in your boutique hotel. We are so glad that we got to stay here and share our incredible memories with friends.

What started as a lump in my throat…read moreturned into three after an ultrasound, and now I'm facing the uncertainty of what comes next. The stress, the fear; it all settled deep into my neck and shoulders, leaving me in constant pain. My husband booked me a massage at Clovr Spa in Phoenix, and I truly don't have the words to fully capture what that experience meant to me. Anabel is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment the session began, she seemed to understand exactly what my body (and honestly, my mind) needed. She worked through layers of tension I didn't even realize I was holding onto. But more than that, she gave me something I hadn't had in weeks: peace. For one full hour, I wasn't thinking about test results or worst-case scenarios. I wasn't bracing myself for what might come next. I was simply present, breathing, and finally...finally...relaxed. When I left, the physical relief was incredible, but the emotional reset was just as powerful. I felt lighter. Calmer. Stronger. If you are carrying stress, pain, or just the weight of life, do yourself a favor and book with Anabel at Clovr. It's more than a massage. it's a moment of healing you didn't know you needed. I walked in overwhelmed and hurting. I walked out feeling like I could breathe again.

The bed was comfy, the AC worked well, and the retro vibes were fun. We were there with a group for a friend's birthday, and we really enjoyed hanging out by the pool all day. It was clear that the service team was experiencing some kind of turnover/change in leadership, so sometimes service was a little slow because of limited staffing, but everyone was so friendly and worked hard, so it was never a huge deal. We look forward to visiting again!

Room: the room wss spacious and had fun decorations and design. It had a great size balcony but only one chair. The bed was comfortable. There was a nice refrigerator that had 2 waters in it. It was quite large. The closet had two robes which is a nice touch. The vanity had drawers and had a steamer and hairdryer. There was no iron or ironing board. The bathroom size and shower size are great. There is a frosted window in the shower which wss fun, but if you turn on your bathroom light at night, you wake the other guest. There was a cool Bluetooth retro looking speaker and nice size TV, though we didn't turn it on. The comforter and bed sheets needed updated. They seemed clean but had holes in them. The room was very dusty. It didn't appear it had been cleaned for a while. There is no phone in the room but you can text the front desk. We did not try the WIFI. Paint was peeling off wall and ceiling and could use a fresh painting. Service: there was a $30 amenity fee per night. This seemed quite steep. At check-in no one told us about the daily free drink during happy hour advertised on their website(nor did the bartenders when we showed our room key and asked about it). No one mentioned the daily$15 food and beverage credit for the room. They advertise free Popsicles but when we checked in they said they did not have any but offered for us to buy ice cream. We asked about checkout time because we were not told. Apparently you can get a record player and records for your room but we only found that out from another guest. Service at the bar during the party at Don Woods was poor. Staff was not friendly, and they were more concerned with hanging out with each other than helping guests. The woman checking us in for the party was pleasant. Last year's part was great with servers passing food, champagne toast, and taking drink orders.this year we had food passed one or two times, no one taking drink orders outside and had to go inside to get champagne for the midnight toast. They were supposed to be taking Polaroid pics and that didn't happen and when asked, we were told someone should come around later to take pictures. Last year they had an amazing photo booth. The DJ this year was terrible and never looked up to get a read of people were enjoying the music. Though, he did dance by himself. Food: food at the party that we get was okay. The drinks we were able to order were good. I would come back for summer pool days but probably not to stay unless rooms were cleaned and had new bedding.
