This is another one of those rare times where I'm reviewing a fast food chain restaurant. I only post a review if the chain location experience was clearly, not what I expected. This is one of those times. We were passing through the area and decided to stop for something quickly to eat and I was in the mood for a burger. Huge parking...attached to a strip mall, but far away from the stores. This particular chain is not one I'm familiar with as they don't have any where I live. Now the menu has an adequate selection to choose from fish to chicken to salads to hamburgers. There's also some good dessert items to choose from (I include malts & shakes in this group). Coming in at the peak of lunchtime, there was a bit of a line, but it moved. Unfamiliar with the Culvers menu, I let a couple others jump ahead of me in line. Eventually, I opted for the Cheddar ButterBurger...made it a combo meal. I was expecting a run of the mill burger, but to my surprise, my burger was really tasty. In fact, it has to be one of the best chain restaurant burgers I've ever had! My friend got a different burger I don't recall, but said his was way better than he was also expecting. French fries were pretty good too. This is a Pepsi products place...sorry Coke folks. Prices were average for a fast food restaurant. This chain location was clean inside and out. Although being busy, workers kept the place pretty clean. Now the soda machine area was a little wet but it wasn't any worse than most fast food restaurants I've visited. The bathroom was clean too. Sidenote: paying with bills and change, I was one cent short of breaking a large bill and was expecting the young cash register worker to forego being one penny short and give me back a single bill. Nope, I got 99 cents back! Now I'm not complaining...in fact, kudos to the young man...in reality, it's probably not within his authority to "give" away funds and he was simply following proper protocols to the letter. I'm sure he'll be a true asset wherever he works as he pursues this or any other career. Good job young man, good job! This place exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely visit this chain again in my travels and look forward to it! read more

Four stars for their Custard Concretes. I love these things. Can't get enough. That being said I do not recommend eating anything else here. The food is terribly greasy and will give you a stomach for sure. But those delicious custards are where its at. read more

One of the best fast food burgers I've had in awhile. Burger is juicy and served on a nicely toasted bun. I've gone twice during my visit to Aberdeen and hoping to grab one for the road before heading home. Service has always been great and quick, as you would expect from a fast food experience but hardly receive. Located on 6th avenue, it's in an ideal location and stays open late enough for your late night indulgence. I would have loved to try the custard as it looks good but just too cold for frozen treats right now. read more

Stopped for an evening meal several days ago. The service was good, the food was very good but because of screaming kids parents can't or won't control - the screaming drove us out. May visit again but not inside, will use the drive thru and eat in the vehicle. read more

We don't eat a lot of fast food, but this place is one of our exceptions. Worth the stop for sure. I love the fish platter, their butterburgers are great, they have a really nice variety on their menu, and it's fun having the frozen custard available for dessert. Don't bother with their pre-packed though, they only put a miniscule amount of toppings in there as they are made by hand. The ones we bought, we tried 4 different ones, and all the toppings were dumped into the container on the bottom and the custard just dumped on top. None of it was mixed and there were hardly any toppings anyway. Same when you get flavor of the day. Never looks like the picture, about a quarter of the toppings. If you're looking for a good fast food experience in Aberdeen, Culver's is a good place to try. The butter burgers are really good and the concrete mixers are delicious. My personal favorites are the Culver's Deluxe Burger, the sourdough melt and a concrete mixer with Reese's! read more

If it were for the frozen custard, we'd never eat there. The burgers are burned, best part of the meal are your fries, they are just decent. Teach your cooks not to burn the edges of the burgers and you've got me, The frozen yogurt is amazing. read more
