First time I've ever been here and I am definitely going to be visiting here weekly from now on. It's a smaller place but it's very vibrant and the staff was very friendly. That said, consistency can vary depending on the day. The salads are huge easily shareable, which is nice, but depending on what you're looking for, the portion size can feel a little excessive. Desserts are good across the board. The peppermint and Andes mint options are personal favorites, though they do lean on the sweeter side. They also offer a large selection of adult beverages, plus some zero-alcohol options, which is a nice touch and gives everyone something to choose from. Stopped in for lunch. Got the seasonal menu option, Greek Salad. I added grilled chicken. Absolutely perfect - exactly what I wanted. Since moving to SD from SC, I miss Greek foods and flavors. This hit the spot. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. The wait staff was good and attentive, but didn't hover. I was asked if I preferred high or lower table. Outstanding meal and service! We had the walleye and the Chilslic appetizers, the San Francisco melt, and Big popper smash burger. All of it was so delicious and served timely. Good food. Warning: Be prepared to pay a 20% non-negotiable required fee pre-added to the total listed as a "tip." Most restaurants provide a suggested gratuity. This is not the case here. My bill came to $50.76 after the 20% tip as listed on the bill. I gave the waitress a $50 bill and expected the tip to be somewhat negotiable. Nope. She came back and said I need to pay another 76 cents. I asked her if the "tip" is required. She said the tip is required. I'm not even sure how this is legal. Also, I paid in cash because the bill says non-cash payments added another $2 fee. I will not be back to this shady restaurant. At the end of the day, I did not tip. Five of us went for dinner on a Saturday night. It was pleasantly busy. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! We had four different kinds of pizza and two servings of the double burgers with cheese and fries or chips. The next day we were stuck at the airport waiting on our delayed flight. We were in town for a wedding and visited on Friday night and then again for breakfast on Sunday morning before we left town. The decor is modern and sleek. The staff was attentive and accommodating for our large party. The seasonal cocktails were so yummy. I had the yellow brick Road times too. I had orders to go here twice! Five stars for not only having Po'boys on the menu, but good ones! Possibly one of the best shrimp Po'boys I have ever had! As someone who spends most of my time in large cities, this place gives some of the most popular restaurants I've had (of its kind) a run for their money. My mom and I went for lunch last week and HOLY COW! The menu is very diverse. We had crab cakes and creamy lemon shrimp for appetizers. The crab cakes were great. The shrimp didn't have much flavor though. For main dishes we shared the mango shrimp tacos (little bit spicy), the Korean BBQ tacos (favorite thing of the day-10/10!!!), and a margherita pizza (very thin, crispy crust; amazing). I think our group was all pleasantly surprised. We definitely feared the menu because it's a little all over the place and doesn't really make sense but nonetheless the food was pretty good. The drinks were not so great for my tastes. The chicken and waffles were the best meal at our table and I recommend that. Glad to see a place like this in this town and hope it does well.
