Nice store off the freeway in the quaint town of Summit. Clean and friendly with good fresh food and service.

Last week I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich without lettuce and tomatoes. I received a grilled chicken sandwich and it had lettuce and tomatoes on it. Today I ordered a chicken cashew salad and barely has any cashews, three cucumbers, one tomato, and no croutons. Are you guys skimping on food now? Is this where Culver's is going? The curd burger is back! I think Culver's is on top of the burger chains but there curds are not. So many great places to get cheese curds in the Madison area but Culver's is not one of them. Somehow its different when you have a curd patty on a burger it's like a cheese burger with extra cheese. Make sure you eat it right melty away. read more

Don't waste your time, instead make the 10-15 min drive to the REAL Culver's. To start, they were slow asl, they didn't have a sweet tea machine (who tf likes unsweet), and they gave me the smallest free scoop of all time. What's a brother got to do to get a REAL scoop of turtle, not some flimsy kiddy cup. They then proceeded to rip off the free scoop coupon on my kids meal...THEY PATCHED THE GLITCH. I love Culver's but this is my only exception. They always forget my orders. Their food gets me all queasy. The surroundings are pretty nice and welcoming though. I asked for hot fudge, that gave me chocolate coating which was FROZEN in my DISH and I couldn't move my SPOON! The ice cream melted, and I was mad. COMPLETELY PAINFUL I'm a huge fun of Culver's! In fact, it's the only fast food burger restaurant that I'll eat at during a road-trip. When I'm hungry and I see their logo on the highway info board I'm getting off at that exit immediately. The experience here was horrible. The 16 year old kid working the register was unprofessional. I just wanted to order my burger. He refused to listen to me. In fact, we had to clear out my order three times because he refused to listen to me. He kept trying to order for me. It was really weird. At one point he made my burger a basket. I didn't want that but he insisted it was the best deal. I then told him I haven't had soda in 10 years, he then told me he would still give me soda cup for water. What? So I'm going to pay for a soda cup and not get soda. The logic here was illogical. I simply tried to order by building my own burger. The Culver's here has a giant menu board encouraging me to build my own burger. I've noticed that all Culver's prices don't add up the right way on the menu, so I'm always keeping an eye on my ordering to save money. Hey if I can save money, then I'm going to do it. I just wanted to Build my Own Burger. I noticed that based off of the prices printed on the menu board I was going to save some money but I needed to order a certain way. The kid kept telling me I needed the meal basket. I told him I didn't want that. I just wanted to build my own burger. I can't understand why this was so difficult. He kept telling me he was saving me money. He was wrong! In fact, the total was over $20 for our order. When I looked at the screen he had still refused to put my order in the way I wanted. I made him clear out my order for the second time. I made him enter what I wanted and guess what? We had saved over two dollars. I looked at him and said, "You do know you kept telling me you were saving me money? How come my way was still cheaper?" He just looked st me and had no comment. He honestly shouldn't be working a counter and talking to humans. The saddest part was that my burger was wrong. I've never received my burger wrong at Culver's. I couldn't even go back to the front counter because of the lack of customer service plus I'm sure they would have added some special sauce to my burger, if they had to remake it. I didn't want the special secret sauce that the chef might add in as a bonus. I filled out my customer service survey and one of the questions was would you like someone to contact you about this incident. I said yes and guess what? No one has contacted me. This location is truly unprofessional. It's lack of customer service is a disgrace to such a fantastic brand. If you're driving up the highway please skip this location. I want to save you from a disaster. The best part is that there's a Culver in either direction on the highway. Stop at another location that cares about making the customer happy and skip this one. I wish I would have eaten somewhere else. read more

Culver's, a Wisconsin staple! Everyone should have some Culver's at least once in their lifetime. Culver's is known for their famous custard and butter burgers. Their dinners are also something to consider, walleye or pot roast. It is a hearty, comforting meal. Personally, I'm here for the custard!! I tend to get a concrete every time with chocolate custard and throw in some pb cups and cookie dough! The flavors of the day can help to change up the usual order too. I love that they use real strawberries in the strawberry shakes. I don't usually eat at Culver's because my tummy doesn't tolerate the sugar in the custard. But recently I ordered a cheeseburger (I don't usually eat burgers with buns, more tummy issues), they gave me a double. It was so good! Well worth the risk of digestive pain. The service is generally better than most other fast food joints. I don't know how they do their hiring and managing but McDonalds, Burger King, Firehouse subs, etc could definitely use a course in their methods. read more

Stopped in on their 3rd day of business and they were running like a well-oiled machine! The drive thru was backed up nearly to the road like every other Culver's in the surrounding area. We ate in the restaurant so I can only assume they were pumping those cars through as quickly and efficiently as they could. Inside, a young man named Mason took our order. It took him a little bit to punch in our order and supervisor Nicholas was right there to help him out without "taking over". Mason handled our order expertly including hubby's green bean substitution on his basket order. The dining room was clean and new of course and it was a pleasure to be seated there while we waited for our food. Our food was delivered with a smile and we were asked if we needed anything else. Food was as expected compared to any other Culver's we've eaten at. I just got a cup of chili tonight while hubby got his pot roast sandwich with green beans. No custard tonight so someone else will have to take the lead on that one. We don't live in Cottage Grove but I am so pleased to see Culver's finally moving in there giving the residents more food options and the teenagers a close place to work. We'll be back! read more

Staff is very rude, and took 15 pulse minutes to make a kids meal.

We live right down the road from this new Culver's, which isn't good for my waistline, but we can't help but go there often. They are consistently good. The drive thru moves quickly, the food is hot and tasty, and the staff is friendly. We are always pleased with our experience. Also, they have Veggie burgers!! Not sure why it's not on the menu, but if you order one they will make it for you (I actually emailed them to complain about lack of vegetarian options, and was told they have veggie burgers. Dunno why they are keeping it a big secret). It's yummy, and comes standard with pickles, onion, tomato, lettuce, and mayo (I personally skip the mayo and pickles). The cheese curds are also a delicious mix of white and yellow cheddar which is a nice change from the norm. For a quick meal they don't disappoint. read more

Stopped here for lunch when driving from Chicago to Minneapolis. Conveniently located right off the highway. Plenty of parking available. We had the puppy with us so one of us had to stay outside in bitter cold with him. When they found out that we had a dog with us they made sure to give us dog biscuit with our order for him. We both (hubby and I, not puppy terror) had a burger and a malt. I had a vanilla malt and hubby chocolate. Mine was very good and puppy terror enjoyed licking my straw when I was finished. So in the last three days I've gone to this location twice both times ordering two butter burgers with no mayo and a french fry the first time when I got home there was only one sandwich the second time when I went through the drive-through they again brought me one sandwich and when I complained they told me they didn't charge me the second time and even though they did the first time they were not willing to give me either of my second sandwiches probably avoid this place it seems their help is lacking read more

So we are from the east coast and we've never heard of Culver's before. We were driving from Madison to Milwaukee and needed some drive thru fast food and saw the Arby's sign and exited the highway. As we were turning into the Arby's we saw the Culver's and were like... "What is that? Should we try it?" Best. Decision. Ever. The burgers are on par with or better than In-N-Out and actually look better in real life than the pictures on the drive-thru menu! The patties have a bit of a char which was amazing and gave the burger a satisfying crunch. The fries are better than any other fast food fries I've ever had. They're perfectly crispy and burn-your-mouth hot, which is how I like them. The custard is worth coming here for that alone. I'm almost glad I don't live here or I'd eat here way too much. Good Job, Wisconsin! My only dings are that they didn't give us any ketchup or ask us if we wanted any and only gave us like two napkins. Just minor technicalities. read more
