Horrible ! Worst burger I've ever eaten in my life ! The meat patty was more than smashed ; it looked like it was run over by a steam roller ! It was as flat as a crepe suzette , covered by 2 fat buns ; and crispy and burnt like someone took a blow torch to it ! I don't know what's going on at Culvers ; but they are definitely going down hill. For me they used to be so good and I went there 2 -3 times a week. Now with the disappearing hamburger patty and the over salted onion rings I must look elsewhere. My wife and I love Culver's. We were traveling in the area and decided to go in for lunch. I got the Deluxe Butter Burger with everything except onions. Very good. Love the bread they use as well. My wife got the Cod Filet sandwich. This is her favorite. We both got milkshakes. I got the salted caramel shake and she got the salted caramel and cookie dough mixer. The only negative was I asked plainly for a single burger and realized when they brought it to the table it was a double. They even charged me for the double. Funny thing was this is the second time at Culver's this has happened at different locations. Next time I will ask them what my order is before paying. We've been excited and waiting for a Culver's to open in our county like a kid waiting for Santa! Apparently so were the rest of the people who heard the news. We did not go for the first couple of days because we figured it would be a mad rush. I have to say that when I saw the line of cars waiting to get into the Culver's parking lot I was amazed! Down the side street and out into Hwy 44 the cars were lined up! The line did move quickly and smoothly thanks to the Culver's management team who put several workers out there to help with crowd control and extra crew members to help get food out to hungry people wanting to experience their food. Even with that we found a parking space easily. Inside to the left is a huge counter to put your order in with plenty of help. To the right is their dining room with assorted sized tables - we found a nice big round table to fit our family of six because we brought our daughter and grandkids along. Culver's has a beverage center where you get your drinks, napkins and a few condiments. I was pleasantly surprised to find a diet root beer - something that I don't see very often so it was my beverage of choice. I decided to try one of their famous butter burgers since they looked so delicious. I opted for their patty melt and upgraded my fries to onion rings. Their Wisconsin patty melt is scrumptious, two thin burgers with Swiss cheese, and grilled red onion. I asked for mayo on it. So finger licking good! Onion rings were also a winner, battered and fried they were a pleasure to eat and share with the kids who were excited to try them. We also ordered a large cheese curd and their pretzel bites for all. Both were delicious and a unique option to French fries. We will definitely order them again for sure. Our grandchildren really enjoyed their kid's meals - chicken tenders were moist and plentiful and the Hamburger was two thumbs up according to one of them - he was too busy eating to answer! Food was great and so was the customer service! Plenty of help and people checking on customers to see if they needed anything and how their food was. This was are first time at a Culver's and they are as good as they say they are. First thing is the customer service was over the top, smiling faces, cleaning tables, running food and asking us how everything is. We tried the butter burgers, grilled chicken, cheese curds, concrete, French fries and kids meals. Everything was hot fresh with a great taste. The employees are nice! However it doesn't matter if you go through drive thru, order for Curdside, order inside to go or anything, plan on waiting at least 20 minutes to get your food (and that's for 1 burger value meal). You'd assume waiting that long your food would be fresh and hot but it's barely warm. The food doesn't taste bad at all, it's just not even warm. It also doesn't matter what time of day you go, and even if the drive thru has no one in it, I've still had to wait that long. I've been to Culver's in the Midwest so I know to expect a little bit of time but it seems it keeps getting worse and longer here. read more

Been here a few times and always had a good experience but went on Monday and ordered 3 meals to go. Pulled pork was good but half chicken dinner and rib dinner were probably the worst I've ever had. Completely dried out and literally smothered with so much sauce that's all you could taste. Maybe should stick with the burgers. read more

I was out on the area today and dropped in to the new Culver's in the area...this location is owned by the same ones that own the one in Brooksville and it shows...from the minute you walk in we had the nicest lady take our order...we received our food and it was hot and fresh when delivered...Double Butter Burger with Cheese combo with Onion Rings and a drink and Single Butter Burger with Cheese with Fries and a drink...they have a drive thru as well as dine in..we chose to eat inside...not a fan of fast food normally but Culver's Burgers are really good and are always fresh.. While Culver's is my go to cheat day and will remain THE best fast food cheeseburger I've ever had , as well as custard that transports me right back to age 6 every time! .... This location in Lecanto seems to struggle with corporate standards. The trash is usually overflowing, the staff are largely unkept and full of facial piercings or tattoos , and the ordering through the drive through is always a crap shoot. Half the time it's uneventful and the other half they get it wrong, or wait to correct errors results in melted custard they never see to notice or soggy fish sandwiches and fries bc they sat around. Inside service is a better experience 75% of the time with the exception of the trash situation and dirty tables... but the food has!better accuracy and turnaround. Staff are on the whole friendly , but need hygiene issues addressed by management at times. I do fill out the surveys but it never has been addressed. I have driven both across the country and along the eastern seaboard for years and stop at a Culliver's every chance I get and have NEVER had a problem except for this location. HQ really needs to make a surprise visit and incognito to asses this location. I really want this one to succeed as it's 2 miles from my house ! read more

Inverness Florida Culver's restaurant location. This place is horrible! Not only is the food horrible but the employees are total garbage! They take forever to put anything together. My husband placed a drive thru order for pretzel bites. When he got home, there was a fish sandwich in the bag. While my spouse went back to the restaurant to get the correct order, I called to let them know he was en route to get the correct order and I asked if we could get a cheeseburger or something else to make it right since he had to leave the house again and it's not close to our house. I was told no twice by two different people. So it was a Culver's employee error and the store could not make it right. It's not like WE ordered the wrong item. We stopped in for a late night snack this past Friday and the pretzel bites where amazing the cheese dip was just right and the service was impeccable. It's a matter of principle....deceptive business practices will not fly! It's not clever marketing or fancy menu lingo or layout...its straight up robbery! Good consumers - BE ADVISED, if you simply say, gimme a burger, at Culver's, no matter what, that means a double burger. The employees and management are trained in the art of deceptive up-selling. Where else does the order "default" to a double burger...unless you don't specifically ask for a single.....it should literally be the other way around! Don't make the simple comment, "with everything" on it, or your going to get hit with 2 pieces of cheese, and other "standard" condiment up-charges. They've got everything covered with their phrasing and menu boards, but make no mistake, they're in it to get you, and my guess is, overall, they do! We dined in, so after my elderly dad & I ate, I moseyed back up to the confusing, overwhelming menu board, to see if we just missed something about "all burgers are doubles unless specified as a single", but nothing jumped out at me. A younger couple thought I was in line, so I told them to go around me, but something made me tap the lady on the shoulder to advise her of what I'd just discovered. So when I told her...be careful, you have to tell them, "make it a single"...or they'll automatically make it a double, both she and her husband both looked at me like "no way", and thanked me twice for telling them. This random interaction with these folks, and they're response, literally led me to pull the trigger on this yelp review. The food? Well, in addition to not being what we asked for, my father took one bite of his burger and instantly looked at me and said, it's so salty he couldn't take another bite....at the same time I was eating an onion ring, and literally was thinking the same thing....so salty it was ridiculous. Culver's is a welcome addition to our community, and not a moment too soon. Other chain restaurants may be trolling the Holiday Inn parking lot in a panel truck, but Culver's took the plunge, adding jobs, tax dollars, and DELICIOUS to Inverness and, from the looks of the parking lot on any given day, we are responding in droves!!
