A really nice experience here! Traveling from Indy to Owensboro, I pulled in here less than an hour before closing time. I normally don't do that but I saw a sign advertising jalapeño cheese curds, and I just had to try them. Even though it was near closing time on a busy Saturday night the employees were smiling and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and truly every employee I saw was pleasant and helpful. The jalapeño cheese curds were excellent! They were actually spicier than I had expected. I love jalapeños but many things that are advertised as jalapeño contain just a hint of jalapeño but these were spicy and full of jalapeño. I also ordered a grilled cheese and it was very good too. I know the jalapeño cheese curds are only a limited time feature but I wish Culver's would consider adding them to the regular menu. read more

As usual food was yummy. Only issue was I preordered and instead of the bring out to us we finally had to go in and pick it up ourselves.

Staff is always checking on our table. It is easy to get around and I love the selection of drinks. My grandkids love the Culver's Root Beer. I like how it feels like a small town restaurant and not a fast food joint. Me and the grand babies will be coming back. read more

My wife and I went to Culver's this evening and I was completely blown away by the absolutely horrible way the restaurant's Asst. Manager, AJ, handled my complaint about being served food I didn't order. This is a true story. I swear I am not making it up despite how unreal it sounds! I ordered their version of a double hamburger which has two (2) patties. The food was delivered to our table and upon taking my first bite, it didn't 'feel' right. So I closely examined the burger and could see only one (1) patty. Then I checked my receipt and confirmed it said double. So up to the counter I went with my receipt and the untouched half of the burger and proceeded to complain about buying a double (at a premium price) but being served a single. That's when I encountered AJ the assistant manager and felt like I was in Complaint Management Hell. AJ quickly looked at the burger and the receipt and acknowledged the discrepancy. The phrases "I'm sorry," or "I apologize for the mistake," or "let us make it right for you," or anything like it never left his mouth. His remedy was to give me a second patty to put on my burger! I kid you not! I asked AJ to refund me the difference in price, a couple dollars, between the price of a single and a double. Nope, you get another patty or nothing!! Finally in my frustration, I looked at the receipt and it says "Locally owned and operated by: Scott Laskowski" with a phone number. So I call the number and ask for Scott. Turns out the number is for the restaurant and Scott isn't there. So I ask for Scott's number and the person says to hang on. A few minutes later the employee comes back on and says Scott doesn't want his personal number given out but we'll give you a new burger! You can figure out what probably happened. A new double burger was delivered five minutes after the call ended. If AJ was handling the complaint the way Scott Laskowski trained him to do it, Scott is a terrible manager and needs counseling from Culver's corporate. Either way, in 2024 with all the competition out there AND social media lurking in the background, why would Culver's tolerate such an antagonistic, defensive, and unfriendly approach to their customers that guarantees to make them ex-customers? read more

The food has improved in recent months since they changed managers. The best time to get something "made fresh" is when the store is slow and they don't have a bunch of patties in the warmer. The most repulsive thing is standing at the counter and the girl taking your order has a black nose ring in her snout with a big black ball hanging like a giant black booger falling out of her nose. She should go work at Starbucks, they like that stuff there. But overall, no real complaints. Like I said, the food quality has improved lately. read more

We've been patronizing this Culver's location since they opened a few months back. Heck, I watched them build it from a pile of dirt and debris. It WAS one of the good restaurants in Jasper. That ALL changed on Friday, June 9, 2023. My wife and I went there for dinner (after finding out our favorite Chinese takeout place was temporarily closed ) because the many times we've frequented this Culver's, we've always gotten exceptional food and service. They must've had the "C" or "D" team on (this, sadly, includes the location OWNER), because our food was uncharacteristically bad. Ordered two plain bacon cheeseburgers, fries and a soft drink. Sounds simple enough, yes? Still, it set me back a twenty spot. The restaurant was NOT busy when we got there despite it being a Friday evening. Still, it took us FOREVER to get our order. When the burgers and fries arrived at the table, they were lukewarm, at best. The bacon was barely cooked and translucent and the cheese was not melted at all. Even the buns were cold. I was not happy. I went up and told the manager that our food was unsatisfactory and we would like a refund. She kinda copped an attitude and says she'd have to come out and get the food before issuing a refund. That was fine; who wants to eat bad food? So she came out to the table and offered to make us new food. Seeings as how we've always had excellent food in the past, this was acceptable. She said "I'll have the owner cook it himself." OK. That should ensure quality, right? The restaurant became increasingly busy since it WAS a Friday evening and we waited patiently for our new food. The manager brought it out to us about six minutes later and placed it on the table very hurriedly and said "I hope these are better..." without sticking around to find out if they WERE better. They were not. The french fries were much hotter, but, hey, that's french fries. The burgers themselves were still tepid, the cheese unmelted and the bacon still woefully undercooked. Even worse this time, the buns were even staler than the previous buns, with the tops of the buns peeling off like old, decrepit wallpaper. My wife was hungry, though, and ate hers. I took a bite of mine and could not, would not, eat it. I work too hard for my money to waste it on, again, poor quality food. The counter was very busy and so I waited until my wife had finished eating her food (a brief side note in case you're wondering about the disparity between her eating her food and me not; my wife is a resident of a mental health facility in Jasper whose food quality is pretty subpar on any given day, so, to her, even bad fast food is pretty good. I had also had Culver's the evening before back home in Jeffersonville and, even carrying it out, it was 100% better than this night's food) before taking my burger up to the counter for a refund. The guy who initially questioned me wanting a refund asked me what was wrong with it and explained to him about coldness, undercooked bacon and stale bun. Pony-tailed manager just stared daggers at me. Owner----OWNER---came up and, in a very smug and unsympathetic manner---stated that he had cooked the burger fresh himself. He MAY'VE cooked the burger patty, but I wouldn't bet ANY money that he ensured that the burger met any kind of standards after that. Long and short of it is; he didn't wish to either own up to his restaurant's one incidence of poor quality (at least for us) AND he flat out REFUSED to refund my money for a burger I couldn't eat. As a result, and I know I'm only ONE customer so this will do little to hurt said owner's revenue stream, I WILL NO LONGER PATRONIZE the Culver's in JASPER, IN. From now on, I guess we'll have to stick with other fast food franchises or frequent local places where they seem to care about quality, service and customer satisfaction. read more

Noon on a sunday. 10 minute line to order food and another 10 minutes to get the best Culvers fries we've ever eaten. Food was hot and the people were very nice. This business is very new and we expected to wait a little bit. Will come back. read more
