I will be going back to make more in-depth reviews on this wonderful restaurant in the future. For this I can't give this spot a 5 star rating yet. The location is easy to spot via the well-lit sign as shown in the picture. The ambiance was inviting both inside and out. The interior looked clean. As for service, the drive thru was quick especially on a Friday evening during a Summer in Michigan. I honestly forgot everything I ordered but I do remember that I got 2 burritos and I felt the size of them justified the price I paid (under 10 dollars for two burritos comparable to one from Qdoba or chipotle). I will be going back to get more food and perform a more in-depth review. It was a drive for me as this location is about an hour away from me but I will be making that drive this year. And I can't wait for that time to come.

I think when I ordered a Del Combo burrito and a Del Beef burrito with extra meat and extra cheese at their self-serve kiosk as the only customer in the store, I must have broken the whole system. After about 15 minutes of hearing the staff repeating my name over and over while working on my order and collectively staring at the order screens in the prep area, I guess I stumped them. The entire floor is sticky and most of the tables are disgustingly dirty. They were out of mild sauce, which is one of the primary reasons I used to go to Del Taco. Then, they served me a Del Combo burrito pictured here. Unacceptable. Why would the shift manager ever allow that to be served looking like that, even though the wrapper? If I had t waited so long for this slop already, I would have insisted they try again. But then, I can only imagine how that would have gone, so I opted not to give them another chance to fail worse. Close this location before someone gets sick.

The customer service is quite bad. Two employee particular Janay and dejanique are extremely rude, apathetic, and laugh at the customers behind their backs. Witness this on several occasions. I have visited this location multiple times now and something has gone wrong each time. If it is not rude employees it's my food order is wrong. My order was taken incorrectly the first time and the employees promptly brought a new order to the table however the second round of food was incorrect as well. I brought my order back up to the counter and asked them to fix it once again. Later, a new order was brought out and yet again it was incorrect. I finally went up there and asked why no one behind the counter was bothering to care. A girl behind the counter took out a pad and pen and wrote the order down and gave it to the cook. As I turned around and went back to sit down, my family noticed all of the employees snickering and laughing at me. On a different day my family to eat inside approximately 45 minutes before closing time and an employee was literally hitting my foot with a vacuum! Everyone was extremely annoyed that any customers were even inside the restaurant! A couple of weeks later when our family visited, the employees screwed up on our dessert ice creams. I went back into the store three separate times asking them to keep fixing it. On the last time, the order was STILL incorrect but I left out of frustration. Ordered double with no onion or tomato and got single with onion and tomato. Took about 10 minutes. Returned it and asked for a replacement. Sat back down. About 5 minutes later 2 employees walked out to the table and asked again what I ordered. About 10 minutes later I finally got the right burger, only the beef was cold and with only 1 slice of pickle. Skimpy food and skimpy service. read more

I visited family in Midtown Detroit, but I am not comfortable with the fast food options there as I have not found any that are clean and comfortable. The Culvers I have visited around the country are usually clean. I found this location which was only a 15 minute drive. It was very clean and had a lot of staff. We were served quickly.
