I just noticed I didn't take any photos of my treats! I am so impressed with this spot. Staff were amazing and the desserts were lovely. They have a lot of different lattes you can choose from, but I opted out of caffeine for some ice cream and a cookie. They have this super interesting mango carrot Italian ice and I was like HUH?!? Boy I tell you it was so durn good. I choose the strawberry ice cream overall. It was really really good. The brand they use is amazing. Very good coffee and pastries can be found at this business. My Cafe Americano was rich, full bodied with no harsh notes and a nice creama. You can tell by the taste, which was quite good, that they use a superior bean for their Barista side of the business. The Almond croissant I purchased was equally well made with a nice flaky texture, powdered sugar, sliced almonds and a superior Almond cream whose tasting notes really stood out making this a superior pastry. The business itself is quite large, with a bright interior and with plenty of seating. Really a great spot to get together with some friends or to even pull your computer out and work remotely which I saw several folks doing. Nice! Number one, Go here!!! Ok now that we covered the basics let me explain. I came around 140-2pm on a Thursday. They were fairly busy. Lot was full people milling around enjoying their purchases. I never felt rushed or like the cashier was overwhelmed at all. She was personable and made me feel welcomed as a first timer that wanted "All the things "... I love supporting a women owned business, especially when it's a great little find! The employees were so sweet, attentive, and cheerful. Coffee & Cream is a nice little independent coffee/ice cream shop. We have stopped in the past, but this was a nice opportunity to sit down and give it a go. The staff is super friendly and the decor is very cute. They have plenty of seats for people to meet with a couple friends, if you want to. I ordered a medium roast brewed coffee with a baklava roll. My wife got a chai latte with coffee cake and a chocolate croissant. Almost everything was good. We would definitely skip the coffee cake, it was a bit dry, but the flavor was good. This was such an incredibly cute coffee shop. This would be a PERFECT place to work if you have a computer job and a it's hybrid. The desserts looked absolutely phenomenal. What a delight! I absolutely loved Coffee + Cream. I tried the carrot mango italian ice and the oatmeal/chocolate chip cookie and coffee cake. The carrot mango is SUCH a good combination, and the vibrant color brightened my day, alongside the workers positive attitudes. I was helped by Jenna and Noel today and they were both super helpful in making my decision as to what to try. They answered all of my questions with a smile on their face. We ended up ordering a cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso, (that actually tasted like it had an extra shot in it!) a big heaping single scoop of the Zanzibar ice cream, a giant peanut butter cookie and a slice of the lemon berry marscapone! Ice cream delivers, peanut butter cookie I wish tasted a bit more like peanut butter so that was a tad disappointing, though still good and did I mention giant? Another new favorite coffee shop! My favorite thing about this coffee shop is that they make frappes, and can make them dairy free! They are delicious. They have so many food and drink options compared to some other coffee shops. Their croissant sandwiches and spinach pies are incredible. I was so happy when I saw they had spinach pies. I stopped in while visiting the area for the holidays. Coffee + Cream has something for everyone. They have a wide variety of coffee and coffee based drinks, Tons of baked goods, warm food and homemade ice cream. They had quite an elaborate holiday drink menu as well. While it was packed on a Sunday morning I was able to get service right away after chatting with the cashier/barista I settled on a less sweet version of their most popular holiday drink I can't recall the name but it was a latte with English toffee, gingerbread and cinnamon. I also ordered an almond croissant and blueberry muffin. It took more than 10 minutes to get my drink and when I got it the temperature was like warm at best. We warmed it up when we got home a long with the pastries both of which made up for the drink. They were perfectly fresh and moist. I am considering a return in the next few days to get some work done they have a wide variety of seating with a plant wall, fireplace and many tables that get plenty of sunlight making for a lovely dine win experience. read more

The perfect spot to go for a random sweet craving. The workers are so friendly and always ready to offer suggestions on what to order. With how hot it's been this summer, it was very nice to be able to treated by Yelp to a frozen treat from this family-owned business! Throughout my visit, I experienced excellent, friendly service. The guys were helpful in offering ice cream flavor recommendations, providing me with several samples of the different flavors, and even advising me that the shakes would be the biggest bang for my buck (knowing that I had a free item). The building had a bright, friendly atmosphere. There was plenty of seating to meet with people or do work. I ended up ordering the "This $&@! Just got Serious" ice cream in milkshake form: salted caramel ice cream with sea salt fudge and salted cashews. The flavors all go together so well. There's a great sweet and salty contrast, without it being too sweet. I also love the "nutrition information" on the back of the cup (see picture)! One will find this establishment on a tucked away corner in the middle of nowhere, being a ways from 96 and Ford Road, and awkwardly placed from Hines Drive and 275. I've only ever been able to come here when going out of my way. Despite this, it's super busy at all times. I don't think I've ever come here without there being a 1/3 or more full parking lot. I've even needed to drive away before because it was full. I never come here on weekends because of this. That crowd is surprisingly vast. You'll see beat up working class trucks and people glued to MacBooks. Seniors chatting or working over coffee and a littering of women who you can feel judging you before you're within a mile radius of the place. You'll hear the hottest town gossip and leftist conspiracy theorists ranting and raving about Elon Musk and Facebook. It's a crapshoot who's there at any particular moment, which must be difficult for the baristas to handle given the radically different attitudes of the clientele. It should be noted that this place is usually LOUD as a result, and that sound travels freely throughout it. There's tons of little nice things, like a wall of plants, creepy cute signs, and a fake fireplace, but the shop itself lacks distinction and is not especially welcoming. Apparently this intersection is known for bad drivers, too, because you'll hear a car horn go off every so often. But, is it worth it? Well, it's not /not/ worth it. The coffee here is decent. Way better than a lazy chain or donut shop, but not as good as a proper coffee shop ought to be. They constantly have seasonal and monthly options which is cool, and a decent amount of variety, although variety is common these days. Stick to the main menu or teas. Their Turkish coffee is good, but it's super unbelievably small in comparison to any shop that specializes in Middle Eastern style drinks. On that, they make London Fog here, a rarity in most places. And, it's really good! But, cups are never filled to the brim, like others have mentioned. Pastries aren't recommended. Some are delectable, but cold and unappetizing seems to be the mainstay. Never did try the ice cream, which I forget is even there every time I go. The service is okay. Some of the baristas are lovely, quick, and elegantly professional. Others not so much. Seems to always be confusion behind the counter where workers don't know what to do or in what order even when there are few customers currently waiting for their drinks. Try it out. Get something unique to the shop or status quo. Stick around for ten or twenty minutes to get a feel for the place. It may be worth the drive once in a while for something different. I made the trek out to Livonia on an off-day from work to try some tasty treats, and it was well worth the drive! Coffee & Cream has a great selection of items with which to treat yourself, from ice cream to pastries to coffee and fun tea drinks. For my free treat, I chose a blueberry cheesecake milkshake, which was to die for. The ice cream is obviously high quality, incredibly creamy and rich, and the fruity/cheesecake flavors were exactly the refreshment I wanted. I also got a blood orange iced tea, and a raspberry/cheese danish. Everything was excellent! On top of the delicious treats, I thought the interior of the cafe was decorated well and the staff were very friendly. There were several other pastries in the case that I wanted to try.
