This was my firs time visiting Culver's and I will be back. First, we were greeted at the door by staff who held the door open for our party. They welcomed us in with friendly faces. Being our first time there, the staff member was very eager to answer any questions we had. I decided on the flavor of the day, the caramel peanut butter cup in a waffle cone. WOW! Delicious. We've always liked Culvers. One of the reasons is because they have the ice cream flavor of the day which was always interesting and intriguing. This has to be the nicest fast food restaurant I've ever been in. Fancy tile in the impeccably clean bathrooms, landscape detailed with blooming flowers and not a speck of trash anywhere. Add in great tasting food and service using the Chick Fil A "my pleasure" standard, and you have a winner. In fact I'm a little unhappy Culver's isn't in Texas and this particular franchise owner isn't on more business podcasts talking about how to do fast food right. Stopped on our cross country drive having never tried a Culver's before. Staff were super friendly and helpful when ordering. The ice cream sundae....seriously delicious for a 'fast food' place. I had the grilled chicken sandwich (which could have stayed on the 'grill' a little longer) which was tasty and my husband had the burger which he devoured so I took that as a 'like'..... I think I've found a new favorite burger chain. We had been seeing their ads on tv a lot recently while we were staying in Colorado and when we ran across this one we thought we would give it a try. So glad we did. It was an easy off/on for the interstate, is a clean and relatively new location and the counter service was fast and efficient. This Princeton, IL exit is not as busy as some along the interstate. On top of all that, the food choices had new things we hadn't seen anywhere else. I ordered their original "butter burger" all the way and it tasted as good as my favorite burger back home. I also got a butterscotch milkshake that I really enjoyed. They have tons of flavor choices for their shakes, malts and concretes. My wife got their pot roast sandwich and upgraded her side to fried cheese curds. The pot roast was moist, tender and oh so tasty. It suited the plain eater because the sandwich is just pot roast and bun. No "other stuff" to worry about asking them to hold off. It suited me because of the delicious taste of the pot roast. As much as I like a good hamburger, I think I would order the pot roast sandwich the next time we run across a Culver's. Beats the heck out of an Arby's roast beef sandwich when you need something quick and simple. Oh yeah, the fried cheese curds were pretty good too, with 2 kinds of cheddar curds. I've noticed from other Yelp friends check-ins that there is now a Culver's in Gainesville, FL. Maybe Culver's is starting to expand into Florida. Could we hope that they will come to Tallahassee? We just need a relatively local milk source since they use "local" milk for their shakes and ice cream. Maybe Sparkman's Dairy in Moultrie, GA will do. read more

Friendly and efficient service. One free ice cream cone if you fill out a pink slip. If anything is not right just say something and the manager or staff will happily fix it so it's right. The food is fresh and if you don't like fried foods, you can also order a salad. I love it because the staff open the door to help me and are very accommodating. read more

We stopped for lunch on a long road trip. Great Gluten free buns for only $1! The owner was even nice enough to peel off the nutrition info off the box from the buns so we could use that info to figuring out special medical needs. Food is always great! read more

We thought going inside would be quicker since the drive through was so long. Seemed to be the right choice at first. No wait to order. Sat down and waited for our food for about 10-15 minutes before someone came and let us know they gave it to someone else. So finally after more than 5 minutes we decide to just take it to go. It was already on the tray so all they had to do was put it in the bag. They forgot all the fries. I gave 2 stars because they did offer free custard for the wait. read more

I saw the bad review from a month ago, but decided to go there anyway. Looks like Culver's corporate may have seen the review too because they swooped down and completely renovated the place. All new furnishings, tile, carpets, bathrooms. And the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'm very sensitive to smoke and didn't smell any on the staff. Don't get scared away by bad reviews.
