It was okay. We stopped here after dinner for a sweet treat. The drive through line was very long but moved quickly. We ordered a Caramel Cashew Sundae and a Hot Fudge Malt. The service was crazy fast. We got to the window, paid and they handed us our treats! My wife's Caramel Cashew Sundae was overloaded with cashews but had only a little caramel. She was a little disappointed. My Hot Fudge Sundae was okay but didn't taste as rich as hit fudge should be. Like the sundae, I think they were just skimpy on the topping (hot fudge). read more

I've ordered the same thing all the time I go, which is basically a kids meal with the free ice cream. It was a very simple order as well. Everything no onion and a chocolate ice cream with brownies. I wait about 5-8 min for my food so wasn't a bad wait time but by the time I get my food and open my bag. I had a feeling something wasn't right. They gave me a plain burger with nothing on it and my ice cream was vanilla with the brownies. I was very upset bc how could you get that all wrong? So I go up and tell them what had happened and they just gave me the rest of what I missed. Um what??? You expect me to make my own burger even though yall messed it all up? Lazy people. On 3 occasions I have gone to the drive-thru at this location, ordered cheese curds, got home, only to find there were no cheese curds. On the latest occasion, I asked the attendant if the cheese curds were in the bag and I was assured they were. Each time I call, get an apology, promised a coupon but not a refund. In the previous occasions I never received a coupon. We'll see about this last occasion. It really doesn't make any difference as I will never go back to this location. I'm out over $17. This is either total incompetence in staff training or a scam. So beware. read more

I was really excited to come here for my dogs birthday. I was going to go someplace else but someone recommended me to come here to grab a pup cup for my dogs. So I drove over here to get them some and a concrete Oreo ice cream. I've never been here before and it is usually very popular. So I said what the hell, let's give it a whirl. Oh my god. Our visits to the Quincy Illinois Culver's is usually very satisfactory and we enjoy its quality and service. They are the best fast food in the area . I usually do not review restaurants. We fell in love with Culver's while living in Wisconsin . We noticed a decline of quality of service and food as we moved to Iowa and are visiting Quincy Illinois . Two complaints : a couple weeks ago we ordered two hamburgers and automatically received doubles which we inadvertently paid for . We are elderly and watch our food consumption and our pennies . Secondly we went through the drive-thru recently and had a simple order of one single with mustard and pickles . They did not include the pickles . We were left with a cold hamburger once we circled back and got the pickles. Way to go Kitchen crew! -portion was good, temperature was ok -drive thru service was quick...a little too quick Cons -greeting could be improved at the drive thru speaker, wasn't even greeted at the window -order taker needs to review order before instructing customer to continue to the window: I ordered a "free scoopie" (using a kids meal coupon from previous visit) at drive thru, but they charged me normal price. I get to the window, handed the coupon over assuming they took it into account when I ordered, the team member took my coupon without even looking at it or over the order to make sure it was applied. I didn't realize they charged me for the scoopie until after I took off. -team member at the window was not friendly: no greeting, she was impatient and wanted me to pay quickly and move on -I got ice in my drink when I specifically asked for no ice, again not very friendly service when I asked for it to be corrected -pink receipt on the bag but no actual transaction receipt showing the itemized cost of the meal and charge to my credit card. Visited this Culver's because I had two coupons from the last time I visited and they messed up my order. So I decided I'd give them a second shot... failed again. Ordered 2 deluxe burgers, supposed to have tomatoes and lettuce and low and behold they failed to add the tomatoes and lettuce. We had our dog with us and it was warm out, so we ate on the patio outside. Our food was good, normal Culver's. But they went above and beyond and brought custard with a dog treat out to our dog. I have eaten at other Culver's and the Quincy location is far less superior than others. The burgers are devoid of any flavor and the last two times I have ordered frozen custard, it has left a thick oily layer on the roof of my mouth the consistency of shortening or butter that I can literally scrap off. As I look through some reviews I'm questioning peoples honesty. Marsha R. stated that she scraped shortening or butter off the custard? Custard is made from dairy with no oil or form of butter in it, therefore you need to question that.. As my opinion on this restaurant, every time I eat there, the staff goes above and beyond what you would expect. They anticipate your needs when they bring your food out for example ask if you need any ketchup or napkins. Some complain about pricing is to high? Well I don't mind spending a few extra bucks for a meal actually made to order with good product. With this location, I recommend it highly! Great place to eat fresh food! read more
