She rolled her eyes and sighed when I handed her my $10 bill and asked for 2 of the $5 scratchers. I won on the scratchers so I went back in to turn them in and get more. (Who wouldn't?) I had my 1 year old daughter with me and when I handed her the tickets she said "do you see how many people are in line behind you? There's like 5." I said "what does that mean?" She then mumbled something under her breath along the lines of "I don't have time for you right now." ???!!!!! Excuse me? Isn't this your job? After she said that, I guess there's a button or something you press where it goes on speaker and says they need assistance at the front and she pressed it so hard, it was kind of funny. I grabbed my tickets and turned around and told the couple behind me, "she's not in a very good mood." They responded with, "yeah, I see that." And I said "good luck!" I understand customer service sucks sometimes but I was trying to be really nice to her saying "oh! I'm back!" When I handed her the tickets because I thought she was just having a bad day and maybe needed a little pick me up but no. Her attitude was uncalled for. I was telling my friend about my little interaction with her and she said she's seen her there before and her attitude is ridiculous. She knew EXACTLY who I was talking about. How embarrassing having someone like that representing Cumberland Farms. Get rid of her.

There were actually very few traditional registers, so thankfully I didn't need assistance and could do it all myself. The store is a bit dated but they have a large, well-organized inventory arrangement that makes the most of the space. Aisles are just a bit narrow because of it, and definitely hard to have two people pass each other in an aisle without brushing coats when everyone is bundled up in the winter.

If they had looked at the tracking number they would have seen that it was on the shelf all along. They were vehement that the package was not there and that I had to contact UPS to find out where it was. Thank goodness the driver, who has a regular route, remembered that she delivered it to the store. I spoke to four ladies that day and all of them denied that the package was there. I also asked for the regional manager's number and was just given his name and no number. I was told I would waste my time calling him. I'm posting this review instead.

There's 6 pumps, at an angle, but only about 10' of space between the front of the pumps and the edge of the pavement, so navigate there carefully. Since they're on the south side of Ballston Spa, their prices are generally cheaper due to competition, but their prices are still a few cents a gallon higher than the stations down the road at the 50/67 split. There are parking spaces in front and on the south side, and during busy hours, they're almost always full. It's probably people getting their morning coffee and sandwiches there instead of the fast food chains just beyond. It's a medium sized Stewart's. This one has outdoor picnic tables on the north side that are sheltered by a roof, a nice convenience. Selection is good, however, if you want all the bells and whistles of a newer, larger Stewart's, that would be the relocated and expanded one on the north side of town at the intersection of NY 50 and North Line Rd.

We remained calm the whole time and didn't swear once but he thought this was a perfectly ok way of conducting business. When we left we did notice cash and credit prices in tiny letters on the street sign but because of how this man acted we will never be back, I don't care how cheap the gas is. Also scams at this store must be a common occurrence as I read another review stating a man gave the attendant a $20 and he claimed it was only a $10. This is my first time through since the turnover. Right away you can see the decor that used to cover the walls, giving this spot massive character, is gone, hopefully that is something to be added by the new owners going forward. There are some things from my experience that may be chalked up to the recent turnover such as a messed up order that was fixed and the longer than typical wait for this type of food, but the quality of the food also took a hit. A big tip here, make sure you market it properly as only locals who have tried would be aware of it. And guess what, this local never knew and mistook it for a convenience store. The deli has a lot of potential with a little upgrades. The deli has few spots for indoor seating and an amazing spot with picnic benches, in the woods with a view of a creek. The deli has been voted Saratogas best multiple times. I just got to know it but, this deli is listed for sale. We tried an eggplant panini and a chicken cheese steak. Both of which were good. We took the tiramisu to go. They do get a few bakerybitems from NYC everyday. Small local restaurant that is definitely worth a try. They have ample parking and could get crowded.
