The store holds basics for life: bread, eggs, milk, soda, beer, soups and other canned goods as well as all sorts of ice cream and frozen treats. There is little that can be needed, from matches to mustard, that the store doesn't have. Outside the gas pumps are humming while customers in transit replenish treats for their trip. My specific feedback was just to let them know about a change in quality around the peanut butter and butter hardroll which tastes great with a cup of coffee. However, they started getting cheap and lately (about the last 6 months or so), I've noticed the peanut butter is a meager, partial skim of flavoring that can be so minimal that is seems practically non-existent. In the past, there was plenty of product to satisfy the palette. The store staff is great and I regret having to give one-star for such a small issue, but it is more about the lack of response from corporate when I've logged three different comments on their customer service platform. That's partly because of all the unmanned self-checkout kiosks in the front, somewhat crowded with a lot of other displays, service counters, and devices, many of which had "out of order" signs on them. We have enough choices in town for over priced snacks, and the sake of alcohol and cigarettes is already handled by Stewart's and Cumberland Farms. The pharmacy is l closed almost as much as it's open and the community needs a place where it's citizens can actually count on being able to get their prescriptions when needed. And one personal note for Walgreens. 1 in 8 Americans has diabetes and 1 in 40 use insulin... you should never need 2-3 days to get those kind of needed meds into the pharmacy and certainly not every single time a refill is due.
