I had to go to the Urgent Care across the parking lot a few times (thanks pneumonia) this past winter, and they'd have everything ready by the time I walked over there. Maybe I had to wait a minute or two if they were busy. The other day I walked in and the lady behind the counter waved and said hi. On my way out the guy told me to have a good one, and I admonished him to do the same! So, at least in my experience, the service is fast and friendly. The pharmacists are especially kind despite the treatment they get all day.

I stopped here in a hurry, to fuel up before continuing on to my destination. I swiped my credit card, selected 93 octane, and when the pump said to "Begin Fueling," I tried to do just that. Problem: Nothing happened. So after messing around with it for a moment, I went inside to ask what the deal was, and a Comic Book Guy sort of dude working behind the counter was in no rush to even acknowledge my presence. He had an iPod, but the earbuds weren't even in his ears. Yeah, I'm sure you didn't notice me standing there, bud... Finally, he acknowledged me, and came off in a pretty condescending way. Listen, bro, I imagine I probably wouldn't be the happiest and most enthusiastic person working the overnight shift at a gas station, but take it easy. He explained to me that he was "really low" on 93 octane. OK, what about the others? Well, he wasn't sure, but he said my best bet was to try 89. ...sigh. Fine. So I go outside, select 89, and start pumping... it goes incredibly slowly, and stops at $0.98. At this point, I said screw it, and drove further along to get gas somewhere else.

I Frequent this Stewarts often as it is on my commute to and from work and I've always gotten good…read moreservice in a clean environment. I've been to convenience chains all over the country from Circle K's to 7-11s and they all usually have some signature items that make you think of them. For example, 7-11 has Slurpies and big gulps. For Stewarts, their ice cream is definitely a differentiator. They have a large variety of custom ice cream flavors that you can only get there. Some of my favorites are "Crumbs along the Mohawk" a graham cracker and caramel flavor and, "Mint Cookie Crumble" which is like thin mints and mint ice cream in a blender. In addition to custom flavors, they usually have ice cream sales, make shakes and splits for you when requested, and are generally friendly about it even though it can take a little more time on a busy day. Other items I like are their Red Hotdogs which are spicy and their breakfast sandwiches. Stewarts is always innovating and trying new offerings which I also appreciate like "tornados" which are like toquetos with themes such as breakfast sausage with maple flavor and so on. They also take Apple Pay which is great and supper convenient. All things considered, as someone who moved to Upstate New York from elsewhere, I would say that Stewarts has been one of those gems that make living in this area a little more pleasant.

It's conveniently located, the pumps are well-lit, and it's open 24 hours.

Also, please fix the token changer, which has been broken for several days. The entire front portion of the store is dedicated to machinery that only accepts tokens including the arcade-style claw machines and small toys /key chains dispensers. I saw people wandering through the aisles looking really confused since dozens upon dozens of machines in this section are unplayable if customers can't change their dollars into tokens. There's no one around to even explain that to them. I did, however, enjoy buying snacks. The spicy potato sticks may be my favorite. I look forward to trying the new foods they plan to bring in. I wish they could offer full meals. I mistakenly thought the store would look more like a Japanese version of H Mart which is Korean and truly has everything. Still, Ebisu's arrival to the Capital Region gives shoppers more variety and options, which is great.

However, of special note, the pharmacist was super friendly and efficient. Although I was already familiar with the potential side effects (since this was my forth Covid related shot) the pharmacist took extra time to explain things and was extremely attentive despite the pharmacy being extremely busy. Overall I was very impressed with the interaction today and I highly recommend this pharmacy.
