The location was very convenient off of Rt. 1 in beautiful, historic York, ME, parking was limited and tight, the outside of the building was okay, not crazy beautiful or eye-catching in my opinion, we were not greeted upon entering, it is kind of chaotic inside for a new customer and it took us a few minutes to figure things out, how to order, etc., the lunch sandwiches that we order we HUGE!, I ordered a tun sandwich which was by far the biggest tuna sandwich I've ever ordered anywhere in the world, employees were efficient and friendly, prices were surprisingly reasonable, the inside of the store was clean and did not smell, it was pleasantly air-conditioned, and the restroom was clean and did not smell.

I am a regular local who frequents this store quite regularly. For the most part the customer…read moreservice is professional and friendly,. With the exception of one disgruntled employee. A sour puss brunette named "RENEE". Who has the personality of a rock. Her service is always extremely cold, very unfriendly and unprofessional. Just the other day I was grabbing a hotdog to go out of the steamer holding bin. The plastic tong that sits up top of the steamer is held in place by a small piece of Velcro. As I was reaching for the tong to grab my hotdog The Velcro piece became undone. Accidently dropping the tong to the floor. "RENEE" witnessed this accident and scoured me with her damning and cold eyes. I apologized for the accident and to which I received no reply. I witnessed her pick up the tong of the dirty floor and place it right back on top of the steamer without washing it first. Not even a dunk in a sanitizing solution! This sort of unprofessionalism is not only unacceptable it is unsanitary and unhealthy. Sure to spread disease and make people sick! I was appalled by her unprofessional action. She should be terminated. I plan on reporting her to the district manager as soon as I get chance. I also feel a report to cooperate is also in order.

My daughter had a hot grab and go baked ziti with meatballs that she flipped for (our car smelled delish!) and I had a made to order turkey "sub." My sub was so ding dong delicious! Quality fresh deli and great lettuce! I also grabbed some edible cookie dough that was just yummy too! Damnnn!!! Service with a smile - super impressed!!!
