The roll had been grilled at some point and had a crust but it tasted extremely stale and was kinda hard to bite into as a whole sandwich so I tried eating just the brisket with mayo. Sadly I tossed the bread out and after smelling it the dog picked it up and even he couldn't chew n tear the roll for a bite. For a crew who was hungry and excited we all wound up hungry and Sadly disappointed, especially considering the prices ($11.99 for a brisket sandwich on a burger bun) ($11.99 daily special sub) We won't be going back and we're definitely glad about that. The store seems to have a bit of everything; wine in coolers, craft beers, ready-made soups to take home and heat, books, gifts. I mean, what more could you want? We ordered two sandwiches to go - since we hadn't planned to stay (although there was table space once the lunch rush cleared out). I had a club sandwich on white sourdough. Wayne opted for a special; the Italian Italian. It was full of meat, cheese, and so much more. However, this little gas station sits at the juncture of Winn Road and Route 9 (Main Street) and is a godsend if you are running on fumes during their business hours. Otherwise you may be pushing your car to Cumberland Shell. The usual beer, cigs, lottery tix are available but, surprise, you can also buy homemade food prepared by the Bangladeshi matriarch, although it's not a sure thing. Excellent variety of wine and beer as well as hotdogs, coffee and pastry. Use your Irving rewards card but you have to go inside to update your points.
