Jacob and the staff at Wayne Croy are great! Friendly and efficient. Honest and reliable. I visited for an auto inspection. Earlier in the week, I called to get a walk in and learned they process auto inspections at the start of their day. I arrived and had the inspection completed in about 30 minutes. This hometown business offers a humble waiting area with restrooms, magazines and a soda vending machine. I took it to TSM and they told me the compressor was bad and that it would be $1300 to fix. I was concerned, but I went ahead and approved the repair. I picked up my car after they had closed and while driving home, the cold air stopped blowing!! The original problem was NOT fixed it would work, then it wouldn't work, just like it had been doing before the $1300 repair. I took my car back the next day and they said there was a circuit that was dirty which was causing the air conditioner to quit, and oh, by the way, the compressor was bad too, so the $1300 was necessary. In the end the TMS auto, the' Elite Ethics Certified' repair shop is nothing more than a parts swapping repair service, that will support their mechanics regardless of the cost to the customers. Although there was only a short wait before the tires could be installed, which is quite understandable, for what ended up being only a $32 job, the owner drove me home in his personal vehicle, and picked me up when my vehicle was ready. I can't say enough about his level of professionalism, courtesy, and desire not just to do right by his customers but to go above and beyond to make things just as painless and convenient as they could possibly be. In a word, the service was incredible. I've honestly never experienced anything like that at an auto repair store before. If I weren't moving out of town, I would be bringing my truck back to Sam's Service Center to replace my ball joints and tie rods, as I have absolutely no doubt in my mind it would both be performed correctly and timely, not to mention at a very reasonable rate. If you happen upon this, Brad, I can't thank you enough for the exemplary and exceptional service you provided. Manager threw a fit over the phone when I called them out for replacing the passenger side because it was Friday and it's an easier job. I told them to replace the correct one. They did, but they didn't put a gasket on the bottom flange and did not tighten the bolts. To make matters worse, they replaced it with a used manifold. Don't trust these guys, find someone else.

I advised them that the thermostat was recently replaced and was told "oh, well I always change them when I do a water pump" Spoke to the mechanic on the phone about the over $100 charge to do the water pump that wasn't cleared by me prior to the service and he said that he should have changed ball joints on the car that didn't need to be changed. His wife called me back and apologized and told me to come up and they would refund $100 on the thermostat to make things better. I agreed and went up there today. When I arrived the wife wasn't there and the mechanic asked where my car was. I told him that I don't drive it everyday and he plopped a random thermostat on the table and asked how he was supposed to put my old one back in without the vehicle there so he could get his money back on the new one ($14 part that is now used)... I'm sorry but after being threatened that he would have put on parts that the vehicle didn't need there is no way I would trust you to touch my vehicle again. Edit because I can't reply to the comment from the owner: Never once did I see my car on the rack. And yes he did threaten me over the phone and that's when you called me back to try and make it right. I have the call logs. He literally said "I should have replaced the ball joints that it didn't need" then you told me to come by today to pick up the $100 to make it right. You wasn't there when he asked where my car was and tossed some random thermostat on the table saying he needed the car to put this back in to get his money back.
