I took it to TSM and they told me the compressor was bad and that it would be $1300 to fix. I was concerned, but I went ahead and approved the repair. I picked up my car after they had closed and while driving home, the cold air stopped blowing!! The original problem was NOT fixed it would work, then it wouldn't work, just like it had been doing before the $1300 repair. I took my car back the next day and they said there was a circuit that was dirty which was causing the air conditioner to quit, and oh, by the way, the compressor was bad too, so the $1300 was necessary. In the end the TMS auto, the' Elite Ethics Certified' repair shop is nothing more than a parts swapping repair service, that will support their mechanics regardless of the cost to the customers. So, think twice before going there.

Although there was only a short wait before the tires could be installed, which is quite understandable, for what ended up being only a $32 job, the owner drove me home in his personal vehicle, and picked me up when my vehicle was ready. I can't say enough about his level of professionalism, courtesy, and desire not just to do right by his customers but to go above and beyond to make things just as painless and convenient as they could possibly be. In a word, the service was incredible. I've honestly never experienced anything like that at an auto repair store before. If I weren't moving out of town, I would be bringing my truck back to Sam's Service Center to replace my ball joints and tie rods, as I have absolutely no doubt in my mind it would both be performed correctly and timely, not to mention at a very reasonable rate. If you happen upon this, Brad, I can't thank you enough for the exemplary and exceptional service you provided. There was no attempt at upselling, I received the exact service I asked for, there was no questioning what I wanted or needed, it was an extremely straightforward and honest approach to doing business, and I wish I could bring you all of my vehicles when they required maintenance. Manager threw a fit over the phone when I called them out for replacing the passenger side because it was Friday and it's an easier job. I told them to replace the correct one. They did, but they didn't put a gasket on the bottom flange and did not tighten the bolts. To make matters worse, they replaced it with a used manifold. Don't trust these guys, find someone else.

I asked for a noise test (this took them 2 business days to do, during which I had to call them 4 times to ask what was happening). Afterwards they quoted me a minimum of $2300 and suggested I needed a new car, which was shocking considering I drove my car there. The quote included everything down to a new air cabin filter (which they would've seen I had just gotten replaced 2 weeks prior if they had bothered to actually look). I took my car to another mechanic and got the repair, along with additional maintenance, done for $450 total. As a girl in her 20s, this is far from the first time a mechanic has attempted to scam me. However, Christian Brothers cost me more stress and time than any other auto shop ever has. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. (FYI: They charge $90 for a noise test and ~$170 for a check engine light diagnostic)
