First off I will start by saying this review is solely based on the fields and the cleanliness of…read morethe surrounding area. I played here when I was younger and now I'm bringing my son to the same field, the place hasn't changed at all. The moment you pull in there is a play area to your left and a newly built skate park. Both areas are always clean and not littered with trash or solicitors. There is also private security for the neighborhood that it is placed in. They patrol the area regularly to make sure there is no defiance in the park. Bathrooms are always well kept and clean. Area is well light from the lights over hanging from the fields. Long story short there's a little something for every age of youth.

First time to this baseball park. We were here for a 13U baseball tournament where games were…read moreplayed on the Big Field. The field itself was disappointing. There was so much loose dirt all along the backstop and along the 1B and 3B areas. When a ball landed in this area, it created a dirt cloud/puff. All the players shoes and socks were caked with dirt by the end of the first inning. Have you noticed how many times I've mentioned dirt? The grass IF and OF needs to be cared for; there are areas of rolling hills inside the lines that needed to be avoided; including right in front of the batters box. This field is playable, but it has so much potential. The next topic was the bathrooms. The Men's area smelled like something crawled and died in there. The Women's area was just a little bit better. Dogs were NOT allowed to enter the fan area. So be forewarned not to bring your 4 legged friend unless you want to watch the game from the OF

I loved this stadium. New York Met fan FO life but I was visiting San Diego from New York and…read morethought it would be fun to go to a Padres game and it WAS FUN. First off, what a breeze getting into the stadium, just organized and easy, I was shocked. People in California are so chill, it's bizarre. I swear I didn't hear one honk of road rage my entire trip. Anyways, they had this grass seating area you could sit at inside the stadium, adorable. A massive sand pit in the outfield, how cool. The sunset as I was walking up to my seats, a dream. The people, friendly! The Diet Coke, REFRESHING. (Even though side note the guy charged me $14 for a souvenir cup when I didn't want a souvenir cup obviously not going to have a Padres cup in my cabinet but you know what, that's OK because the whole experience of being at this stadium was so lovely, give me a cup, charge me an obscene amount for a soda, whatever dude!) There were so many food options it was overwhelming in a good way, so many bars to hang out at in the stadium, cool crowd, highly recommend coming here for a game even if you're not a fan.

The crowd was amazing..... We won this game so it was extra fun. You don't always have to buy food & drinks. However, it's part of the ballpark experience. Luckily if you're on a budget, you can bring in snacks and an empty drink bottle to use. They have plenty of water stations.
