His office staff is knowledgeable and I always feel like they are very detailed with their examination and eye exams. Make sure you ask questions if you don't understand something. They do speak Vietnamese and English if you wanted to know. If I ever need care later on in my elderly years, I wouldn't mind continuing my care here. Seems like everyone is pretty happy and they accept quite a few insurances, even CalOptima, Medicare, and private insurances. There are a lot of young student interns that I'm assuming are pre-med so don't mind them if they help with the exams. It's good to let young people shadow and help with the flow of outpatient healthcare. I guess if you are looking for some sort of volunteer or work experience, go check them out and ask if they have any openings.

We were so lucky that we happened to call Aquity Eye Group, because we soon got a call back from Dr. Elizabeth Du. Been thinking about getting LASIK and I finally decided to get it done after extensive research. I…read morechose this place based on positive reviews here on yelp and responsiveness during my initial inquiries. First, I scheduled a virtual consult on a Friday which took about 15minutes. The staff was able to answer majority of my questions. After which, I went on a Tuesday to have the in-person check up and scans done. I went to determine if I was a candidate for PRK (4-day recovery) or LASIK (1-day recovery). Shelly was the one who assisted me. Then my surgery was scheduled that Friday. I arrived at 12:30pm as schedule. The scans were redone for accuracy. The LASIK procedure was done at around 2pm and lasted for approximately 15mins. They give you valium 30minutes before and Xanax after to help you sleep. The process I would say is 5/10 in terms of pain. There's a pressure in your eye then the laser. After the procedure, there's a lot of burning's sensation and it's difficult to open your eyes. That's why they recommend to sleep for at least 6 hours to give your eyes a rest and recover. They give you eye shields and glasses and there will be eye medications that you need to instill for 7days and eye drops for 3 months. You need to come back the following day for a follow up. The following morning, I am able to see clearly but a little bit cloudy. Both doctors were nice and have a great bedside manner. Overall, I highly recommend this place for LASIK. They do have payment options, one of is care credit, 18months zero interest.
