I'm so happy I found 20/20 Optometry because it led me to such a wonderful experience with Dr. Kim. I originally found the office through my insurance website because I needed an eye exam for my dental loupes. I had started noticing changes in my vision since my last appointment with my previous optometrist in Riverside, and after moving back to Orange County, I wanted to find an optometrist who was knowledgeable, up to date, and thorough in their approach to eye care. After having such an extensive and detailed visit with my previous doctor, I was hoping to find that same level of care again in Orange County--and I'm so glad I found Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim is incredibly personable and made me feel comfortable right away. She was attentive to all of my questions regarding dry eyes and my lens prescription, and I appreciated how proactive she was during the exam. I've always struggled with driving at night and, before I even mentioned it, Dr. Kim explained that even my minimal prescription could make a noticeable difference for night driving. That level of attention and understanding immediately stood out to me. We also discussed contact lenses, and she made the entire conversation feel pressure-free and informative. She let me know that whenever I'm ready, I can always come back to explore contacts or glasses if needed. Overall, the entire experience felt welcoming, professional, and reassuring. The check in process was easy except the booking period is very tight. I had to book at least 3-4 weeks in advance. The doctor was great, very informative about my eyes etc. But when it came to me picking out my glasses, the workers pretty left me with not much attention or help in the process of pick out my glasses. I asked if I can just my old frame but they were very pushy about getting a new frame with the small unappealing selection they had there. I just realized they abandoned their old profile and opened this new one with all positive reviews, so let me share my actual experience. Do I even need to explain how rude and unprofessional the staff are? What really shocked me is that I have never been to an optometrist that refused to help with contact lenses that clearly weren't working for me. As a first-time contact lens wearer, instead of helping me ease into it, they pushed me into buying a 6-month supply right away. The lenses ended up making my eyes extremely dry and uncomfortable, so I couldn't wear them. Those boxes literally sat unopened on my desk for almost 2 years because I thought maybe the problem was me or that I just couldn't wear contacts. Then I finally saw another doctor, and they told me that unopened contact lenses can often be exchanged for a different brand or prescription if they're not working for you. That was the first time anyone ever told me that. When I called this office for help, the girl on the phone was completely unhelpful. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, she kept asking why I didn't return sooner. Well... if someone had actually informed me of my options in the first place, I absolutely would have. No one told me I could exchange them. No one followed up. No one cared once the sale was made. Based on my experience, I would avoid this place. read more

I've been coming to 20/20 Vision Optometric Center since 2016? and I've always had a good experience here! Over the years, they've definitely upgraded their glasses selections, and there are many more stylish choices now compared to before. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. Although everything overall was great, I do feel that the vision test with the doctor felt a little rushed at times, especially when switching between eyes since my eyes needed a bit more time to adjust during the exam. However, the doctor was still very informative about my eye health, explained everything clearly, and showed genuine care and concern for my eyes. I especially want to thank Mrs. Lan Anh for being so kind and patient with me throughout the process of choosing my glasses.
