Having an appointment is absolutely pointless because even if you show up early/on time, you'll likely be in there for over an hour after your initial appointment time; honestly probably even longer. I've sat in the office waiting for my family members for 3+ HOURS (mind you, this was WITH an appointment!) and got so fed up and had to ask what the heck was happening. Why have an appointment if we have to wait that long? Make it make sense. It looks like they overbook appointments per day to squeeze in as many people as possible, but this doesn't do anything except create extremely long wait times. I once talked to someone else in the waiting room who was taking his elderly mom to an appointment and he expressed frustrations of how something went wrong the day of, and so they made them return the next day to wait EVEN LONGER to be seen by the doctor. If anyone has a visit here, you'll likely be there all day, so plan accordingly. Or better yet - avoid all together! The front desk staff is also unprofessional. I speak Vietnamese, but even then they are snarky, rude, and have no consideration for anyone's time. The younger staff are usually a bit nicer, but the older middle aged ladies that sometimes work the front desk are so snarky for no reason. While I can't speak on the care received since I wasn't a patient myself, my family members have expressed extreme frustration with this doctor and his staff. The long wait makes it extremely frustrating. The staff will usually call before and morning of the appointment to remind the patient but they borderline HOUND patients and are like "you better come to your appointment!" - only to show up and have to wait for OVER 3 HOURS. Make it make sense. They need to reevaluate and reorganize what they do here because I can almost guarantee you, their patients all think the same thing. Avoid unless you absolutely cannot do so.

Not being educated on what EVOicl, Lasik, and smile treatments are, I came into my first consultations not knowing a thing. Needless to say my counselor Christine took the lead in enlightening me on which procedure was right for my eyes. For context, my eyes were both around -6.5 with bad astigmatism. She ran through the entire process and explained what to expect going into my operation. Overall, from the beginning to the end, I felt safe, secure, and well-educated in every step of the process. The surgery itself was held at their Rowland Heights location, and the office staff/ doctors were super friendly and helpful. Dr Patrick Pham knew what to say to relieve any stress going into the treatment, and was well spoken throughout. With their multiple branches, I had the pleasure of going to their Westminster location for my post-op appointments. If you're looking to get eye surgery done, look no further. IQ Laser will get you right. I am beyond happy to exclude contacts from my daily routine!

Bizarre unprofessional "consultation". Quick check of your eyes by maybe an optometrist and then…read morethe rest of your "consultation" is spent with a salesperson who calls herself a coordinator. When I told her I was interested in RLE surgery, she lit up and a huge smile came across her face! Because it is the pricier vision surgery. A consultation would be learning about the patient and making recommendations. Nope, the entire time was pushing the surgery and a particular surgeon who I could only meet after I put down a $100 refundable deposit to lock in their 1k discount offer. This is eye surgery!!!! Not buying a used car or getting a gym membership. Prior to this place, I have had several enlightening consultations with the surgeons themselves. I wouldn't trust my eyes to this extremely tacky place.

Dr. Tran has been taking care of me since 2018 and I've always had good experiences with his stuff…read more The office is very clean and it serves the local Vietnamese community and little saigon. His office staff is knowledgeable and I always feel like they are very detailed with their examination and eye exams. Make sure you ask questions if you don't understand something. They do speak Vietnamese and English if you wanted to know. If I ever need care later on in my elderly years, I wouldn't mind continuing my care here. Seems like everyone is pretty happy and they accept quite a few insurances, even CalOptima, Medicare, and private insurances. There are a lot of young student interns that I'm assuming are pre-med so don't mind them if they help with the exams. It's good to let young people shadow and help with the flow of outpatient healthcare. I guess if you are looking for some sort of volunteer or work experience, go check them out and ask if they have any openings.

We arrived to our appointment at 10:00 am it's currently 11:33 am and we are still waiting to be seen. I understand patients taking longer than expected but an hour and a half is excessive. The office is definitely over booking patients, there aren't enough seats in the waiting room

The lack of organization and consideration for people's time was incredibly frustrating. The receptionists also made no effort to greet or assist the patients. The most concerning part was the unprofessional behavior of the doctor. Not only was he dressed in gym shorts, which was completely unbecoming of a medical professional, but he also had the audacity to engage in a personal phone conversation during my dad's appointment. I couldn't believe the level of disrespect and lack of professionalism he displayed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking quality medical care. In addition, there was a lack of post-care information provided by the staff and doctor. It is crucial for patients to receive clear instructions and guidance on how to take care of themselves after a medical procedure. We were concerned as this was his first time and wanted to take the proper measures to keep his eyes healthy. After he was done, we were ushered out as they were closing soon. Again, we asked the receptionist if there were any medications he had to take or care treatment he had to do. They just informed us that they had faxed it to our pharmacy and they would let us know the details. We went to the pharmacy the following day and they didn't receive anything.. There was a back and forth and neither side took the blame. Overall, a bad experience
