I had to go to the post office due to a postal worker's error, and had no car. I played "yellow cab…read moreroulette" (I mean, aren't they all yellow cab something?) and what do you know? I got a shiny, huge towncar to drive me. Look, I'm 'po', as in I can't afford the 'or'. However, the occasional taxi drive, when needed, is a lot cheaper in California than owning a car, registering, insuring, smogging, etc. So screw it. I called, and they said about 15 min. It was more like 20, but w/e. The guy even waited for me in the parking lot while the post office looked for the package, whereas most drivers want to be paid and take off and say call back when you're done. I mean, it's the post office. Then, they didn't have it there, so I had to go to another post office. Thankfully I saw the mailman who actually realized his mistake and personally went to find the package at the office and got it for me. But, I got out of the house, and my back (which has been hurt by a car accident) wasn't hurt, and I felt like I had a personal driver for a bit of the day, instead of a taxi, since the car was SO BIG! and clean, and the guy was so friendly. I asked if I could post his name but he declined (some people don't want to be yelped personally, I respect that). Not sure what's with all the one stars, I respect and abide by Yelp (oh Yelp, you complete me) so I was anxious about this, but he called twice to tell me he was coming and where his progress was, and trusted me to not short him or leave at both offices!
