They can hire some more employees!! Went there Saturday morning to pick up a preorder. Two people behind the counter and no one in the front vestibule to check me in. A man comes out and checks me in and I get in the medical line and I wait and wait and finally I leave and upon leaving without my order I say maybe you should hire some more employees!! Next I go to Zenleaf in Highland Park. I walk in and there is an employee and a security guard and I am greeted checked in and let in. Next is another employee who greets me with a very friendly greeting and directs me the the next line and I get my order and I'm done in under 5 minutes plus everyone is Friendly!! Just a couple days ago I purchased a select essentials pineapple express cartridge 1 g started using it and the resin started coming out of the tip! I called and told them about it and they told me to go to the website send a contact email and wait 35 days and somebody will call you and make a decision on what to do because they said since I didn't have my original receipt which I shouldn't have to have because they have my contact and my purchases on file there that I couldn't bring it back. TL:DR - Never coming here again; 70 minute wait while seeing all customers that came after get served first; manager yelled/spat at us and refused to wear his mask during Pandemic, was getting lots of spit droplets on my face. Many good experiences before the management change, but after this one horrible one, never coming here again. After seeing online confirmation our order was ready, we arrive at the location and check in via the website. We are parked in 1 of the 2 curbside pickup spots, and we selected curbside pickup as our option. No one comes to us, and after 20 minutes, we decide to call in (I cannot physically walk up, as I just had surgery), we were told it was our fault for not parking in the right place (why would we park in a NON Curbside spot, if we wanted curbside pickup???), then they hung up the phone. 70 minutes after confirming we have arrived, the manager comes out to yell at us for "Not taking the initiative and walking in". There is a pandemic going on, and I cannot walk in. I explained this to the manager, who continued to yell at me, and pulled his mask down, letting his spit fly into my face. I ask him to put his mask on, but he yelled "I am standing 6 feet away!!!" He was close enough that as he yelled at me for "NOT TAKING THE INITATIVE AND WALKING IN", I could feel his spit landing on my face. I hope I do not get sick with Covid, or anything else. I'm not even frustrated, but I would like to warn consumers looking for legitimate business to stay clear from this location. The person who helped me was a purple haired somewhat older woman. She started yelling at me and telling me she didn't have the patience to deal with me when I kindly asked her how much each item was. After that she started throwing my medicine on the floor. I couldn't believe my eyes. She went and grabbed the manager explaining to him that she couldn't take it anymore since I wanted to know what the harvest date on one of their products was. When she showed me and it was too old for my liking she put her head down and started moving it in many different directions. When I respectfully explained the issue to the manager at Curaleaf in Deerfield since she grabbed him claiming "she couldn't answer another question" he said that I shouldn't have removed an item and I had enough available information on the menu and that I shouldn't be asking the questions about the products/medicine I'm buying. I will never go back here again and I recommend to anyone looking for legitimate business to stay away from this location. When I was deciding which items I wanted the tender said "I'm sorry sir but I don't have the patience to deal with you and you need to make a decision". I now see her outside shouting at another security card exclaiming how ridiculous it was that I needed the information on the product. He claimed that my CDL was not a valid form of ID. he further stated I need to get another Drivers license. I am not a cannabis user. i am a legal guardian and licensed caregiver. I've been coming to this dispensary for about 6 months now and I only have good things to say about it. Everyone who works here's so friendly and helpful; anyone who says they're not is just wrong. I actually recently witnessed the worst Karen at this location yesterday; she was upset about having to wait 5 whole minutes and was literally causing a scene about it *eye rolls. Some people can be so entitled, rude and impatient. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. Seriously, this place rules and some ppl just drool. I truthfully have only come across the nicest and most helpful workers at this location. This location is medical only, please be aware of this! That being said, everyone who works here are very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. They have a huge parking lot, parking will never be an issue. They also do curbside pickup if needed/wanted. They still have the best point system around, some good specials and great service, but with their competitors now offering slightly lower prices and IL doing away the requirement that you only use your assigned dispensary, going to this out-of-the way location has lost some appeal. read more

I like that this location is medical only because the time in and out is realitively swift. I was dealing with a very hard thing in my life that day and Zac made my day with his pleasant energy and great service. Everyone is extreemly nice and accomodating, even the security guard always has a big smile on his face. The loyaly program is better than some of the other dispensaries in the area and they always have a nice selection across the board. To the individaul who gave one star; I guarantee they had a good reason to take the action they did. I'm happy they made a big deal about insisting you wear a mask, even if it was curbside.
