They stopped giving a medical discount at the Highwood location so prices jumped up for me as a patient. They are good about not pushing specific brands or telling you what's new, but you have to put in an order at the kiosk to even get someone to discuss options with you. read more

I want to like this place more because it's a local business - but it leaves so much to be desired. Walk in, I then stand at the iPad for about 5-10 minutes as I scroll through a bunch of stuff I know nothing about. I would guess, on the low end, I'd spend $75 more dollars every time I'm here if instead of an iPad someone actually talked to me and recommended things. Check out is a pain, I'm always waiting while listening to the one speaker in this place blast in my left ear because it's inexplicably right where you wait to checkout. Some small changes and this place could be great but it just feels so devoid of any real personality that it's going to be hard to attract loyal customers. read more

Terrible service. You will wait FOREVER as the "budtenders spend FOREVER socializing with customers. And when the line is long, they couldn't give less of a damn. Be ready to wait at LEAST a half hour (and more if the ATM isn't working). Stay away. read more

I was not treated well at Zen Leaf so i decided to give it a try and im soo happy i did! No wait time or lines! Great selection!

It's bad when you order something and spend the money and get home to see that they didn't give you the right amount you purchased. Spent almost $200 and took at least an hour and a half to go pick it up, just to come home and see they only gave me half of the 14g I purchased. So now it becomes my word against their word and I've been a customer for a while (around when they first opened in Highwood). That is completely unacceptable to do that to someone. And on top of that, you can't even open the product in the store to double-check and make sure. I knew it felt light and boy was I right. That is definitely not a good look. The iPad is the only service anyone provides to place orders and it's frustrating to use and doesn't clearly label the items that are THC-A as opposed to THC. There are no returns and the woman I spoke with on the phone was kinda bitchy, to be honest. They did not offer any support while I was shopping or recognition of my experience there not going well after the fact. Boo. So far all the legal cannabis dispensaries I've been to have great customer service, and very similar prices. None of them have the variety they picture on their websites, I think Michigan and Illinois are still catching up with more demand than supply but I don't know much about the business end. The thrill of buying legal marijuana still hasn't gone, but now I'm being more of an experienced customer and even in a field known for good customer service, this place stands out. Unlike other places, it's in a very nice neighborhood. It's smaller and very quaint. Even the security is polite and friendly, and yet clearly alert and observant. Very near the Metra train station and some excellent restaurants. This is the place to buy a nice gift for a friend with back pain. read more

Someone was not there to greet me (he was busy) so I went up to check out and was rudely told by a guy (believe name of Lexus or Alexus) I was in the wrong line (checkou and not order place) I tried to get a word in edgewise and was cut off and could not get a word out of my mouth The greeter at the front (nice guy short hair, 30 ish baseball hat) said he has heard this before I live in the area and the kids that work at these places are always chill and nice probably because of the nature of the business. This guy was bad news and I would never return here even tho I live a block away.
