I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Curated Piercing Studio. My 16 year old daughter came to get her lobes pierced, first piercing. Jenn and her team were welcoming and customer oriented. I appreciate all of the protective measures and questionnaire, which made me feel like they valued my daughter's health and wellbeing. Jenn is amazing and her experience is impressive. She explained everything as she went and put the effort in to making my daughter comfortable. After care is explained in detail and an electronic pamphlet is provided. Took my daughter here because I don't believe in Claire's or any gun that pierces your body. So since moving out here, I found Jenn. She did an amazing job on my daughter's nose piercing and also tragus. She had some problems with the nose ring and Jenn was very patient and helped her. The same happened with one of her ear piercings. I told my sister to come here with her 5-year-old daughter. Some other person pierced one ear oddly, so anytime she had earrings, it was always facing downward. Jenn was so good with her and took the time to explain to my niece what was going on, let her pick her earring, and held onto a stuffed animal. She has the best "bedside manner" and as someone who was going in for nipple piercings I didn't want to just go to some tattoo shop filled with men. I love the self scheduling. TLDR: great initial service but will ghost you if you need any after care support. Great piercing experience. Honestly, after the piercing I was extremely excited about her service. As soon as I walked out her booth it all changed. She gave us some verbal directions for after care of which reflected her documentation she provided. We had complications two weeks in and reached out to her through text because she just won't answer her phone. She finally gets back to us three days later (so much for her "response in 6 hours" commitment. Her response was so late it was essentially useless and we had to go seek help elsewhere. Fast forward to my daughter's last milestone of a piercing journey (3 months after piercing allowing change of earrings), her ear's piercings start closing up. We reach out again and the same outcome. Condescending with no solution to the issue. We have given up on her and just went to someone else since still has not helped us resolve the issue. read more

Decided to come to Curated for my philtrum aka Medusa and my best friend got her nostril. I had emailed Jenn prior to scheduling to ask some questions and schedule and she was responsive. Scheduling was easy and I got a reminder text right before. The shop was easy to find and the interior was super cutely decorated. Everyone was incredibly friendly in there, they have jewelry on display, and they have water bottles and snacks, which is awesome for those nerves. Jenn took her time explaining care to us and the process. She was engaged on our joking shenanigans and was patient when I laughed and ruined my mark. She apologized for being a perfectionist as well, and boyyyy do I appreciate it when it's a hole that's gonna be on my face! She also used tools to ensure my best friends piercing was symmetrical to her other nostril piercing, which was fantastic as another shop didn't pierce it symmetrical previously. She's quick at piercing and makes you feel welcome, she's got this "warm mom" vibe going. My best friend is raving about Jenn to others and we plan on returning for future piercing needs. We had a wonderful experience with Jenn at Curated. My 3 year old daughter recently said she wanted to get her ears pierced, so we made an appointment. The appointment process online was easy and spelled out exactly what we needed to bring (birth certificate and immunizations). My appointment request was confirmed in minutes. My daughter walked in very excited. The man at the front desk who greeted us was so kind and excited for her. He really played in to her excitement, and even brought her a stuffed animal to hold during her piercing and promised her a special sucker afterwards. We filled out paperwork, picked out her earrings and waited just a few minutes to be called back (we were about 15 mins early). We got called back to a cute little area with a pink chair. Both piercers were on either side of the chair and greeted her. Jenn took the time to talk to my daughter, and explain to her what she was doing in terms she could understand. When it came time to pierce they did it at the same time, completely in sync and quickly! My daughter cried of course but Jenn was so comforting to her and once she got a good cry out she was able to smile and Jenn took a picture of her to put her up on the wall. Jenn explained the after care process to me and also had the cleaning solution I would need available to purchase which was so convenient. All in all I give it 5 plus stars! My 6yo daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and I came across Jen (the owner's) piercing page and videos. Her demeanor was so calming and she walked people through step by step that I decided it would be a good fit. We were able to walk in (but for small kids, it would be good to call ahead to make sure there are 2 piercers for the tandem piercing). Every staff member in the building made the experience exceptional from the guy going through paperwork and cheering her on from the sidelines to Jen and the other woman piercing her. They were so patient, kind, and fun. The tandem piercing made it so that my daughter only had to feel it one time and it was so quick that it was over before she realized it was done. Also, it's important to note the shop was extremely clean. She was given a certificate of bravery, a sticker and lollipop and I was given easy instructions on care. Have to give Jen a review Even tho I was in a few months back First and foremost Jen is so highly educated and comfortable with what she does. She makes a safe space for you and makes sure all your needs are met without you having to even worry. She explains very thoroughly and politely what to expect. She's professional and her bed side manner is out of this world. The other employees are also super super kind and so welcoming. When you walk in it's like a little family. The piercings I got were done flawlessly and Jen has such an angels touch that it's hard to say it hurt. The employees who helped switch my jewelry were also so kind. When I had an issue not related directly to the piercing but caused by the trauma of the piercing jenn stepped in and reassured me I was okay and gave me all the tips and tricks and within two days the issue was resolved! She is by far my most favorite piercer and I always recommend her shop! All of her services and jewelery are priced appropriately and her shop is very clean and orderly.
