Wow! I really cannot say enough about how amazing Tim is. As a homeowner, sometimes you take on a project that is just a little too big. I think we've all had the moment when we realize we are in over our heads and we are not really sure what to do. This weekend, Tim saved me from this dilemma. We had to remove a deck (rats are the worst). I knew I was going to have to haul it all away once I was done with ripping it apart. I was dreading this extra work on top of ripping the deck apart. So my fiancé called Tim to see about having him haul it all away. When she told Tim about the project we had going on, Tim offered to come over right then to look at it. Tim showed up and assessed what was going on. He offered to not only haul the debris away but to help take down the rest of the deck. What would have taken me forever, took him no time at all. He got our stuff loaded fast, even when it was big, bulky, and/or disgusting, and as a bonus he gave our yard a once over with his leaf blower when he was done. Not sure what is going on with these guys. I used them twice, but the last two times I've called them I've had issues. A few months back I contacted them to haul another load, received no call back and they just showed up at my house four days later when I was trying to leave for an appointment. Not very convenient at all, plus I scheduled someone else since they never replied. It is now Wednesday, I call them on Saturday and again on Monday and still haven't heard a word from them. I know the holidays are coming up, but since the last two times have been the same result I don't think the holidays are the issue. Update to my review as of 1/12/18: Time is completely off his rocker. I just got a very unprofessional and harassing personal message from Tim trying to state that I was a female client that ripped him off. I'm actually male. The fact that he started spouting off personal information about some other client that screwed him over was pretty disgusting. This guy needs to be medicated. I am filing a report with Yelp and due to his obvious chemical imbalance I think that it's a good idea that I document this with local law-enforcement just in case. After calling all the haulers in the phone book, checking yelp and the internet, I called Curb Appeal Hauling and am very pleased that I did. We were cleaning out a rental unit that some tweekers had inhabited and there was garbage piled high in every corner, Tim showed up with a huge truck, thank god it was empty. He filled that truck to the brim, the truck was so full, he had to come back the next day to add some appliances. We found everything you could imagine in the unit, needles, pipes, disgusting rotting food and other stuff hard to describe. Tim never complained, changed his price or took the smile off his face. He knew I had to have this junk hauled to the dump today too!(were moving out and had to have it gone today!) So he was a no-show and his phone was turned off, it went straight to an answering machine whos 2 minute greeting sound like a pocket dial of someone rummaging through something. Tim and his helper came at at time of need for our family and went above and beyond the call of duty. They arrived in one of the largest hauling trucks I've ever seen. They worked quickly and efficiently and very hard in this summer heat and they cleared off tons of stuff from our property - some of it stuff that we needed to have cleared off in order to be compliant with a recent notice from CalFire. Since my husband was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer - we've been struggling to get anything done and jobs that I had been attempting to do myself (but had no hope of finishing on my own) were taken care of quickly, efficiently and cleanly. They cleaned up afterwards and our grounds look amazing - gone was the construction debris left by the previous owner of our house, including the odd half-buried heavy equipment and concrete blocks, chicken wire and random pieces of wood - gone was the huge pile of boxes that were left over from our partially moving in to our home. (We hadn't completed our big move because my husband was diagnosed with cancer the day after we signed the papers to buy the house). They even did some weed whacking and got rid of most of the dead wood on our property. Our yard and grounds were completely transformed and it makes it much easier for our young children to play safely in the yard and for us to enjoy being outside. They gave us a huge break with the price for doing all this work too - and we truly appreciate that. But more than anything else - we're just greatly relieved to have the work done and for Tim's excellent service and thorough clean-up work that makes things 100X more manageable! Tim and his crew demoed and cleared our cracking concrete paths, insane irrigation installed by the previous owner, and front yard, which was a jungle containing mainly spiky plants or those with mean, deep and big roots. We had a handful tagged to remain -- no mistakes at all, they showed up early, worked hard and fast for a day and a half, and left us a neatly raked dirtscape. Very fair price and perfect execution. recommend! gracious, thorough on the work, great rates! of the 3 santa cruz haulers i called, tim is the only one who called me right back. he gave me his availability, and stayed in touch via text when he was running a little late from his prior job. he & his partner laughed and generally had an upbeat vibe during what is truly hard dirty work. i was overseeing the clear out of a property i didn't know well, and there was an old receptacle that burst as it was being loaded. the stench was so overwhelming that i started vomiting uncontrollably. how he handled that says says everything about him: he immediately graciously said "i'm so sorry! i'll clean that right up!" amazing! he could have legitimately gotten angry that it fouled his truck or that he hadn't been warned (i had no idea), but he just got the job done. he clearly takes pride in his work and reputation; i heard him scolding his team that i was sweeping up and they were supposed to finish up. he also ran in to tidy up a last bit of shed clean out i requested without grumbling, even though he was running late. i was worried a 'hauler' would be just that, and would leave a mess behind. not at all. his prices are very low, so tip big! he earns it! read more

Tim demolished and removed a 46' long mobile home for me in a mobile home park. He had not done many of these before, and it took a bit longer than he thought (a week and a half instead of a week). Fortunately, this was not a problem for me. Tim and his one employee did a thorough job, cleaning out the site down to the ground, at an amazing price. Although the neighbors in the park couldn't have enjoyed the noise or the bit of insulation that blew around on one day, two of them commented to me about how Tim was bending over backwards to be considerate of their needs.
