We were away when they set up, but on our return discovered a cut in our own nearly-new garden canopy. We notified Ruby and sent her a manufacturer's quote for a replacement canopy. A different crew, based in their Half Moon Bay headquarters, arrived to remove the tent. The leader of that team analyzed the possibility our canopy was cut by their workers' action and even re-enacted the scenario, saying he would personally confirm our claim to the company's owner. After more than a month of waiting for a response, we phoned and Ruby said the quote attachment didn't open for her -- yet she never bothered to let us know that fact -- so I sent her a new copy. More time passed without communication from A Festive Affair, so I visited their Gilroy office and was told the company owner refused to believe his workers tore our canopy. Ruby said his decision was final. I purchased a new canopy at our own expense, but condemn A Festive Affair (An Infected Affair?) for causing the damage, failing to let us know our initial notice did not fully display, and denying our claim despite the testimony of their own representative. I strongly advise against employing this company!

I had contacted Pam for a bubble show and face painting for my daughter's 1st birthday. She…read morementioned she normally doesn't do bubble shows but could borrow supplies and handle it, so I assumed she had prior experience. The plan was a 20-30 minute show followed by leaving the bubble supplies for kids to play with. Pam arrived about 30 minutes late, and by the time setup was done, the kids were already excited and waiting. Unfortunately, the bubble show did not work at all. She tried mixing a solution on the spot, but nothing produced bubbles. It left the kids disappointed, and since we were already behind schedule, we had to stop and move on to cake cutting. She did a decent job with the face painting, and she did apologize and proactively offer a $50 discount, which I appreciate. However, the bubble portion should not have been committed to unless she was confident and prepared. First birthday is definitely not a place to experiment leaving the kids eagerly waiting Overall, while the face painting was fine and she handled the feedback politely, the bubble show experience was very disappointing -- especially since it was something we and all the kids were really looking forward to.

I was married in October, 2025, at Kirigin Cellars, and was recommended by the owner to contact Heather for wedding coordination. I can honestly say that I would have not have had such an incredible wedding without her. Planning a wedding without help can take a toll on someone, and I knew that Heather would take the stress away that most brides do not want to deal with. Whatever I needed help with, she was there for me and had an answer to all of my questions. She helped with EVERYTHING: timeline, decorations, suggestions for food, church coordination, etc. You name it. At the end of our most amazing day, she had food and cake boxed up for us to take home since we barely had time to eat during the day.
