We recently used Asha Party Rentals for an event. We had previously rented chairs from them only but this time around, our event was more elaborate. The coordinator was very helpful in working with us on our needs and providing details on description and pricing for items we needed. We coordinated delivery with them and they dropped off and picked up the items. Their pricing is fair and very competitive (if not better) than most rental places in bay area and best part is they have been very responsive. Other places take so long to respond to your online request, etc. I will definitely use them again. read more

I got this recommendation from Yelp and read the reviews. I communicated with the company mainly through the Yelp text. The prices were clearly listed when I first contacted them, unlike the others who wanted to know what I needed first or wanted my phone number first. Communication was clear and professional. The only star deducted was that they wanted cash (not even Zelle) when they deliver. So, someone has to be at the house at time of delivery. That was a little weird. Other than that, they delivered a day before the event and pick up the day after the event, so I was not stressed on the day. I would recommend Asha Party Rentals to others who are looking to rent chairs and tables and tents. read more

They were pretty responsive from the beginning and shared several options for party setup and decorations. We shared custom decoration requirements and they were ready to provide those. They accommodated our request to deliver on the day of the party as opposed to the original schedule. Quality of tables and decoration is top class. I texted them the day before the party to confirm and they informed me they could not deliver as it as they are not located in that area. We selected Asha Party rentals. The price was fair enough. 40 padded chairs for a memorial celebration of my father. They were quick to respond with rental terms and deposit requests. The issue I experiened was the lack of communication with delay of delivery. Initially, the delivery was scheduled for 10a on Friday, the day before the event. This was perfect-enough time to set up. I had family from out of state, plus beyond the bay area at my house to help set up the patio for the Saturday event. I received a message around 10 that there is a delay in delivery. I would be contacted "soon" with updated time. So, around 2-3p no contact from Asha Party rentals on the expected time, I sent a message. The response was they will be there before 8p. Ok, so yes, that is a response. However, not the response I wanted to hear with family over to help set up and no chairs from 10a, the expected time, until 7:45p when they were actually delivered. I did send a message of disappointment that the lack of communication which added undue stress on an already stressful time, the passing of my father with guests arriving for the memorial on Saturday. Asha rentals offered a 3% discount. Ok, fair enough. It all could have been better if after the 10a no show, and message of delay, another message sooner to say, not until 7p-8p. On a positive note, I received a message on Sunday, pick up would be within 10-12 minutes. The truck showed up on time. Honestly, I understand things happen; therefore a rating of 3. (I will not use them again-I think I will buy extra chairs, as less stressful.) read more

Convenient, Fast, Relatively Cheap I contacted Asha Party Rentals (referred to me by my sister) as I need chairs for a party I am throwing . I rented their padded seats for $4 each. It's such a strong and comfy seat, supported some of my guests that are on the heavier side. They have cheaper option for I think $2 each. I also rented one of their chiavari chair last minute for only $6 as the special seat for my backdrop. It looked good. They helped me haul it to my car during pickup. On return date, I just had to drop it off by the door of their storage unit (This one I had to do it by myself but it did not matter since the chairs are light). Would definitely recommend. read more

He responded right away to our email, provided a detailed document with his packages and pricing, and scheduled an introduction call to walk through our needs and budget. We got married at Silver Creek Valley Country Club and he has past experience working there for multiple weddings. We got along with him really well and decided to book him as our DJ/MC and included sound/lighting/photobooth/sparklers. PLANNING We had a 1 hour planning call 1 week before our wedding to walk through our timeline, script, important moments, music requests, lighting and music cues, and overall logistics to prepare on-site. We provided him our full song list and marked the ones that were on the do not play list. We also provided him practice videos of our dances and specific time cuts of our songs. He asked all the right questions and was very organized. We felt like we were in very good hands. ON-SITE Hieu and his crew arrived early to set up and were ready to go for the ceremony. He was very dynamic and had a great entertainer's voice that was clear and easy to understand in both English and Vietnamese. He customized the lighting for different parts of the night and had a sick set up for our group dance that turned into open dancing. We requested a lot of 2010s EDM, hip hop and pop songs and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! We asked him to play bangers the last hour and it was definitely a party! ADD-ONS: The cold sparklers were AMAZING! I 100% recommend getting them if your venue allows it. We had them light up during our first dance lift and group dance and everyone went crazy! The Magic Me photobooth was also super cool! We were able to customize the background, message and photo print design ahead of time and a team member was there to help take photos and keep the line moving. We received the digital photo gallery a few days later and it included both standard and animated GIF versions. Since our venue in particular didn't have anything for the kids to play with, we thought soft play would be a good idea to have and we're so glad we hired BQ. From the beginning BQ was on top of communication and were able to accommodate insurance issues we ran into with our venue. They made it happen fast since we were on a time crunch. One of my biggest priorities was making sure they properly disinfect the equipment after each use and they reassured us that they do. My cousin even saw the workers wiping down the equipment after our party as they were packing up. The only small negative was that we had told BQ the colors for our son's birthday theme (blue and gray) but they ended up having green and pink and yellow mixed in and they asked us if we wanted balloons included with the jumphouse, which we said yes to but it wasn't there on the day of. Again, just a small negative that didn't impact the party but it would've been nice to have those requests complete. Although, having their service at the party was great. We plan to use BQ more in the future and have recommended them to our family and friends.

Pick up was easy. They did all the work. No lifting on our part. They don't have a fancy website. Most of the communication was done thru text. I sent my deposit via Zelle. I did have a conversation by phone with one of the owners. She was really nice and speaking directly with her did put me at ease. 100% recommend.

They told me exactly how many tables and chairs I would need for our number of people, they arrived a day early and set up the canopies for us! They came in the morning the day after our event and took the canopies down. The prices are fair, and it was so worth it to have the peace of mind that this part of our event would be taken care of for us. I first rented out tables and chairs for Easter Sunday and the communication as far as getting the pricing and invoice was great but when it came to delivery there wasn't much communication so I had to reach out and get an ETA. Besides that the pricing was super great so I rented again for my daughter's first birthday party. This time around was wonderful! I got an invoice super quick and when it came to delivery Emmanuel called the day of to let me know a time he was arriving. I rented on a Saturday and they picked up on Monday and texted me an ETA. Super great company and will be renting from them again in the future.
