We had hit the other Goodwill in Arlington Heights a couple hours before, and my wife was happy in what she found. So she continued her shopping luck here and ended up buying more tops and skirts, a denim jacket, and a Chicago Bulls branded gym bag for our niece (she has just started playing competitive basketball).

Overpriced. $75.00. $39.99, $49,99 for pictures, some of the clothes are 18.99. The highest I've…read moreseen was $500 for a statue that sit for nearly two months. Furthermore, stop marking the lamps at 29.99- 39,00 only for the employees to use their discounts and purchase the item for much less, then after talking about it on the floor. (I do have the rest of the clips, but here is a peep of the video). This is a management issue at this point. I don't want to hear there's something is wrong with their pricing scanner, unless Goodwill is hiring the visually impaired to mark items. You can fix up your store, make it organize, clean it and it still won't matter if your overly priced with used items, dealing with employee bad attitudes and entering a non-friendly store. you will not get a welcome at this store by the women. Their clothes are much cheaper, they still have %50 off day, (goodwill does not), reasonable priced, helpful friendly, and also will help you if you're in need of assistant (bills)

This is an unusual review and typically one doesn't see it at this platform. I have been a…read morecertified donor for almost 2 months and I think it is time for rendering a review. My second baby has been exclusively breastfed from birth and he is over 15-month-old. In other words, he consumes whole milk nowadays yet I'm still nursing him from time to time. I still pump regularly, at home and at work. These excess supplies have been stored in our freezer and I know the best solution is to make donations so that I can free up the space from my current inventory and to help out those who can benefit from my donation as long as I am still pumping. "Mothers Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes" was the first organization that popped up when I conducted the Google search. I filled out the inquiry form and Liz, from the organization, contacted me a few days later and requested a Zoom interview/intake. The process was rather easy for someone like me who doesn't take prescription medication and is quite healthy. They paid for the blood draw and this was done at my nearby Quest Diagnostics location. Everything was straight forward. I have a choice to drop off my donations at the milk depot that is close to my neighborhood. However, for a larger quantity (100 ounces or more), I can ask for a driver to pick up my donations. Susan, one of the coordinators, is also communicative, either with a phone call or a text. All the drivers have been super courteous and thankful for my contributions. Mostly importantly, they have always come within the time intervals stated. I recommend checking out their website to learn about their mission, how the milk is treated, packaged, distributed, and utilized, and the impact they have made to the moms and babies in IL ans WI! What I have seen is powerful and I'm proud to be a donor!

I would give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could…read more The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the animals. The animals are clearly well cared for, and the adoption fee includes a lot, such as microchipping and keeping the animals up to date on their medical care. They are also happy to answer questions and provide advice, both before and after adoption. If you're considering a special-needs pet or aren't sure what type of pet would be the best fit, they'll take the time to explain the responsibilities involved and help you make an informed decision. What really sets this shelter apart is that they take the time to get to know potential adopters and make sure each adoption is a good fit for both the animal and the family. Their focus is on responsible placement and the well-being of the pets, not superficial factors. I especially appreciate that they don't judge a person's ability to provide a loving home based on their social media presence. Too often, some organizations seem to equate online popularity with being a good pet owner, but those things have little to do with one another. In fact, the amount of time someone spends building a social media following says nothing about the care, attention, and commitment they'll give a pet. This shelter evaluates people based on what truly matters: their ability and willingness to provide a safe, stable, and loving home. I adopted two kittens from them about a year and a half ago. One grew into a gentle giant, while the other stayed petite. A few weeks ago, I returned and adopted a large 3-year-old cat as a companion for my gentle giant. The adoption process was just as positive the second time around. I highly recommend this shelter to anyone considering adopting, donating, or volunteering. They are doing great work and truly have the animals' best interests at heart.
