Let me tell you about my experience with Hector and his team. I went through an extensive training with Shalom Center to learn about how I can qualify for the City loan under LIPA/MIPA program. I was then introduced to the bank where I could receive additional loan to purchase a house that was under $650,000 in the County of Los Angeles. Through the bank Manager, I was introduced to Hector and his team. The searching of homes began with Hector, back in late October through December of 2022. After searching numerous homes on Zillow, MLS and other listing websites (including Hector's recommendations), we found a home that we really liked. Not to mention, Hector made himself available during day and night either by telephone, text, E-mail and/or in person. It took us a few months until we landed on the one we really liked. Hector then immediately sent me the progress sheet to go over the steps in purchasing a house. We made an offer to this house below the asking price. Of course, we wanted to low-ball the seller but with Hector's experience, he knew what "Reasonable amount" of offer would be in order to close the deal. While waiting for the response from the seller, Hector thoroughly explained the process to us again. Our offer got accepted and the real estate game began. We qualified for MIPA and Hector explained the process. Without a doubt, Hector was the man to answer all of my questions pertaining to the MIPA documents. Hector was knowledgeable and was extremely experienced. He did not use any Real Estate jargon where I couldn't understand what it meant. A few huddling weeks/months later, we had some slight complications with the City and the Bank. During the process, I was told that I had to switch to LIPA instead of MIPA. Another weeks of huddling and frustration began. Hector eased me with his knowledge and experience. I tell you, Hector knows the ins and outs of this Real Estate game! We now entered June. The process had taken me 8 months, starting from the time we began our search of houses until we closed our escrow. The second week of June is when we finally closed our escrow. The process was lengthy and tedious. Hector and I did a final walkthrough of the house to make sure that everything was orderly. We closed the deal and Hector surprised us with a gift of basket (goodies). Hector is the man! I tell you again, he is not here to just sell you a home and collect commission. He is knowledgeable and his team don't stop helping until you finalize the process. Hector is professional and he will make time for you! I highly recommend his service.
