Decent family friendly pub restaurant with a beer garden for outside dining in warmer weather. Situated just 5 mins by car from the village of Ardglass on the Mourne coastal route. The menu is varied with some lovely fresh fish options. The chowder is especially nice and served with homemade wheaten bread. We stopped by midweek when it was quiet and enjoyed a great lunch of Chowder and a steak sandwich served with pepper sauce on tasty garlic ciabata bread It's a family owned business and the quality and freshness of the food served is excellent and good value for money. I imagine it would be busy at the weekends as it's a popular route for Sunday drivers and with a kids menu available it's probably a hit with families too. read more
