Standard sandwich shop. Was hoping for more after seeing all the five stars. Was expecting a larger menu. Didn't see any choices for sandwiches or wraps. Just breakfast, meals, specials and paninis. Wick that they only accept cash. Staff are not very welcoming or friendly. The sandwich was not overly stuffed like I would have expected for all the stars it had got. My advice would be to go round the corner to doorsteps instead. You get way more for your money.

Porridge and cappuccino's. Bit we're excellent!

Great food. Very nice people. They had a great selection of jellies and marmalade for our toast too.

I just discovered this place a week ago when myself and a friend were pottering about looking for a place to eat. We were in a bit of a sandwich frame of mind and were most impressed when we spotted Grapevine. The name makes it sound more like a classy offie but the name of their game is 'food with soul' apparently. The small café had a great selection of creole/Cajun type stuff from blackened chicken down to gumbos and the like. The special of the day was a chicken and prawn gumbo so hoping for a slice of Southern hospitality we both went for that. My friend had never had gumbo before so I described it as a 'kind've paella', how very enlightening of me. Regardless of my ropey descriptions the food was spot on and I thought the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It's a pity this isn't located in a more noticeable slot as I can imagine a lot of people really getting into their menu. Hopefully this may happen via word of mouth and the 'power of Yelp'. Pros: Excellent food, nice staff. Cons: Pity that due to location many may miss out.

Delicious, slow-cooked porridge and a coffee for 3 pounds - you can't go wrong. Love this little spot

Chicken and prawn gumbo was delicious - very generous, filling portion, with gluten free bread provided too.

Pan-seared tomatoes were delicious. Grapefruit juice does not have much flavor. OJ was good. Coffee was a bit of a challenge to drink, coming from Seattle, WA. Environment: The restaurant has an almost wrapped-around glass wall which permits lots of sun light to permeate the space. This is a great thing when the weather is cooler and cloudy. But, in the sumer, when the sun is pouring in, it becomes a problem. The room temperature felt like it was above 80 degrees F, it was muggy and very uncomfortable. I asked for the temperature to be lowered, the waitress said engineering did answer their call. Well, then, she should escalate it to the manager. I fail to see why paying Hilton customers should be made to tolerate this kind of discomfort as a hotel patron. In the longer term, the restaurant should consider putting up blinds to filter out too much scorching sun from entering during the summer months if it wants to save on air-conditioning costs. I had to cut short my breakfast because I felt like I was about to pass out due to heat exhaustion. It was completely intolerable: it felt like eating in the outdoors in Houston, Texas during the summer. Inexcusable considering this supposedly a decent hotel.

There was a 10/15 minute wait for a table but that was grand after all its sunday morning brunch time. I ordered the best of the market breakfast (see pic) and asked for my tea to be served at the same time. Food came out quickly but I didnt get asked if I wanted any condiments, had to ask myself. I was about half way through breakfast as well before I had to remind them id also ordered a tea. This came without milk so had to ask for that too. So the food itself was good, ive had better, ive had worse. I didnt like the very crispy slice of fried soda, personally I prefer a nice soft soda farl to mop up sauces and egg. Potato bread was ok and the rest nice but not mind blowing. Overall its not bad. Lovely setting, friendly, if not forgetful staff. Id come back but ive had better breakfasts. Maybe try a lunch or a dinner next time.

I visited yesterday (Saturday 14.05.2016) with my sister and we had an extremely enjoyable leisurely lunch sitting on said balcony, watching bustling St George's Market, soaking up atmosphere and listening to wonderful live music. Service was good and there were a few Vegetarian options on the menu. It's a pity these Vegetarian dishes aren't more clearly marked with a (V) plus a few more Vegetarian dishes would be great, but at least they are there. Caroline S ordered a Veggie Breakfast (£6.75) which was the most impressive looking Vegetarian Fry I've ever seen, plus she assured me it tasted fantastic. I opted for a pasta dish with butternut squash, walnuts, onion and rosemary (£6.95). Delicious food in generous portions at reasonable prices. We managed to work our way through glasses of Pinot Grigio, Rose and Prosecco. St George's Market Bar and Grill also do the most amazing pure apple juice and Prosecco cocktail which we thought the best Prosecco based cocktail we have ever tried. Most of the restaurant ingredients are fresh and local, coming from the market itself. We arrived at just before 1pm and stayed until after 3pm as we had such a wonderful time there. Even inside this restaurant is beautiful due to natural light coming through a skylight rooftop, however the best tables are definitely on the balcony. I'm already plotting my return...
