Just went in for an Emissions test. Got treated very rudely and not talked to properly about explaining my situation. Every time I spoke I was batted about what I was saying trying to get further info on what I needed to do. I was just asking questions on what to do or what needs to be done. Older guy who sits behind the back desk in the service department is rude. My dor handle had a broken part and they said they wouldn't do it, which is fine of those are the rules. I asked a question because I wanted to understand and he basically told me to leave. I fixed went home, fixed the issue, and went back. The emissions tech was super helpful. I won't use the shop for any of my actual paid work because of that Service Manager. read more

Do not go here for your emissons. There were 6 customers waiting while the only employee that did the emissions was cutting grass and I was told it would be at least 15 minutes until he finished cutting the grass. Today the emissions was closed because the only qualified employee called in sick. read more

Wound give them a zero stars if I could. Skip this gas station! First, it is one of the only stations in the area that charges and extra ten cents per gallon if you use your credit card! Second, the pumps are supper slow! The pump I'm at is 1/4th the speed of a normal pump. So mad! It left after 5 gallons, because that took 10 minutes! read more

This review is only based on my experience with getting an emissions test. The wait wasn't that bad since there was 4 people ahead of me. People did their best with the " social distancing " with in the tight space limitations. Employees did the basic " Hi " and " Have a Nice Day" interaction. read more

Good place to go get emissions tested. Fast service. Be advised that if you get there after 3:30 they may not test. They close at 4pm, not 5 as Google says and they do not test emissions after 4. Have to be there before 3:30p. read more

Racist and inconsiderate. I went there to get my emission test and tags and they double charged my account $145.00. When I went back they pointed the finger at Opus the service they use and when I called Opus they said Currie was at fault and makes this error often. Currie said the would not cover my overdraft fees. They told me to go find a friend to put the money in the account. They we real jerks about it. I called this shop to get an estimate on brake pads and rotors. Mr. Currie quoted me once price. My wife took the truck in to be repaired and ave was charged over 100.00 more. Sheree called me before she paid because i told her what i was quoted. When I called to speak to mr. Currie he adjusted the cost to what he earlier quoted me. I wouldn't send my daughters there. Pretty pricey as well. Nor impressed. read more

Rick and his mechanics will scam you to go deeper in your wallet, and cause damages and problems to your car that was not there before. i will be contacting the office of attorney general, bbb, and will do everything in my power to get car fixed. I can only make a judgement based on an emissions test, waiting area is small considering safe distancing but not unbearable, think there was 3 customers ahead of myself, The greeting was basic handed over my keys and paperwork took a seat, I thought they where pretty quick think I was only there about 25 mins, handed over my keys and paperwork said your all done and have a good day. read more

I have done bussines with Curry park twice. Both times I dealt with the manager of the service dept., possibly the owner. Both times I was satisfied with the work and the agreement to do work, but both times I felt as if he had an edge of "cockiness". Recently I went there to discuss replacing 2 simple parts, with the understanding i would provide the parts I prefered. He said the labor would be $80.00 and that he would not install any parts that he didnt sell. The parts were approved replacement parts, and an upgrade to what he was offering. I went down the street to the Ford dealer, Uptown Ford Lincoln dealership, and they were installed for $60.00. Bottom line is that this guy is unwilling to sell labor unless he is able to sell poor quality parts at a big mark up. read more

Recently took my car there for an emissions test which was handled nice and quickly. While there, I asked if they could fix my back lights because I was pulled over by Tosa police for back lights being out and pending ticket if not repaired. Chris said yes they can check it out. Took car in the next morning and was told it would be a while so given a loaner car for about a half hour or so. Got a call back saying I could come get it. Got there and was given a bill for $55.92 which I paid immediately for checking problem. I was told my back lights were temporarily working but sockets for the fuses needed to be ordered totaling around $80.00 or so. I said the dealer I bought the car from said only fuses should be the problem and he may cover these cost for me. Jeff said ok and get back to them on how to proceed. I left and found that my front passenger and signal light were out. Also, my cig adapter was no longer working either that I use to charge my phone and for my back pad. I called and was told I must have bad luck and to check back on Monday to pay the $ for the fuse socket parts. I called Rick the owner around 8am Monday morning. He said my lighter socket has nothing to do with checks they did. Right away he said do you want to pay the money for the parts so they can put new parts in. I asked will this fix the problems that happened only after they checked the car. He said loudly my mechanics dont go around breaking cig fuses. I said I will come in since you guys are close. I went in and was immediately told that I need to listen to what the $80 charge is for which was different from what I was told on my initial visit. I said let me write it down. Rick the owner loudly said just listen. I said I need to write it down because I wont remember if he says it only. He yelled well start writing. Very rude service. My eyes got wide and Jeff the mechanic said oh well if your gonna make this a problem. I said you both are in my face speaking disrespectfully. This is NOT ok. I was asked are you going to pay the money to have it fixed. I said at this point you obviously dont feel the need to talk to me with respect. I want my money back. Rick says thats not gonna happen so you can leave. I see what your trying to do. I was offended because I felt he was lumping into a negative category of past customers. I said fair would be half or fix the problems they caused with the front light and cig fuse. The owner said either pay for the parts or leave. I said I feel like I have been yelled at an taken advantage of by his business. He said well I will call wauwatosa police so you can get a disorder conduct ticket so go sit in the waiting room. I said I will stand. He said well I have been through this before, if you stand in my face you will get an even bigger ticket. I knew that this was a routine thing for him to do with some customers. Police being called on me because I was being taken advantage of by this auto shop and all this was taking place before I had even had my first cup of coffee! I could hear him calling a second time giving a description of my clothes. Police arrived and said we cant force him to do the right thing. We can go ahead and sign off on your pending ticket since they fixed the back lights temporarily right away to help. I said ok. We walked out to my vehicle and they had me turn on my vehicle and press the breaks. Well, officer Nelson said, your lights are out again so unfortunately we cant sign off on the ticket but recommended some places to go to get my car serviced. I took my vehicle to Currie Park Auto Repair to have my back lights fixed. Jeff the mechanic said he did me a favor by leaving the temporary tester fuse in so I could have my no light ticket released. Jeff, I was not looking for a favor, I was looking to PAY IN FULL for the job I asked your auto shop to do. Rick, as the owner, calling the police on ME for disorder in your shop after you cut off my sentences and yelled at me while I kept my cool. Very unprofessional. OWNER GOOGLE REVIEW RESPONSE: her response is long and drawn out, she wouldnt be quiet enough to answer the question. did she want it fixed. i spent over 45 min explaining to her, she wouldnt listen. her problem could have been fixed for 80.00 with special order parts. the sockets are causing the electrical short which blows the fuse, when the fuse blows the lights dont work. she said she paid 50.00, the repairs would have been 80.00, she said the person she bought car from would repair. she wouldnt authorize repairs. My Review is limited to their emmission testing service. I was overdue to renew my license plate sticker and in my panic noticed that I needed an emissions test. I called the hot line to find a location and after giving them my zip code, I was directed to this location. I walked into the service area, said what I needed, & dropped off my keys and paperwork. 10 minutes later this nice women pulled my car outside, gave me my paperwork back, said I passed and then asked me if I wanted to buy my sticker from them! You bet I did! I saved a trip to the DMV and was in an out in 15 minutes....a perfectly legal driver !! read more

I've taken my cars (some beaters, some decent) to Currie Park for years. My last time, just a few days ago, was for a sticking gear shift lever. They could have replaced the cable, but the problem was just some mild debris that worked its way in and was causing the cable to stick. If they replaced the cable, there's no way I would have known that wasn't the problem, and it would have been a few hundred bucks. A quick inspection, clean and lube the cable, good as new. 38 bucks. I have no idea what these other people are talking about...they've always held their quotes (even once when they quoted too low...they forgot to add a part to the quote). I've never had a bad experience there. read more
