    Chicken Masala Mild

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant! While out walking we came upon Curry Grill & decided to place an online to-go order. Fifteen minutes later the order was ready. Inside, the restaurant was huge, lots of seating & nicely decorated with friendly service. Our food was still hot when we arrived home. The containers were wrapped really really well. Note: Curry Grill has a lunch buffet everyday from 11-2:30PM for $12.99. We decided to split a Chicken Masala (mild) entree with rice & an order of Cheese Naan. We divided up the entree into two bowls & our portions were big. This dish was authentic...so flavorful & fresh, the sauce was wonderful, mildly spicy. There was lots of chicken, it seemed to be both white & dark meat, cooked perfectly & juicy. The Cheese Naan was very good as well, it came with four large pieces of bread. Such a satisfying & memorable meal, I can't wait to try the buffet!

Despite its high ratings they've achieved I decided that this place wasn't really for me. Don't get me wrong; it wasn't awful but it was mediocre at its best, food wise. Service was excellent. Very very attentive to my needs (not that I was being too needy!) Two young beautiful Indian ladies were extremely kind and helpful. They both checked up on me more than enough to ensure if I needed anything else. Now the food I got.... -Cucumber Salad: was a bit boring and bland. It definitely lacked "characteristics. As much as I hate nothing but salty food this salad wasn't salty but it definitely needed more flavors. It was a very light salad so some people might find this as a good starter however. -Curry Grill Platter: was also okay-ish and nothing stood out to impress me in any way. Three different sauces came with it which entertained my palate to some degree but like I said it needed something more to be truly impressive or even good. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. During the weekday, they offer buffet so I might possibly come back for that in the future.

We found out about this place through Offline, and I am so happy we gave it a try! Full disclosure, we know nothing about Indian food nor have we have ever gone to an Indian restaurant before. Because of this, we stuck to the recommended menu items through Offline, and everything was so good! We started with the Mo Mo Fried (Chicken), Mulligatawny Mughal soup, and garlic naan. Yum, yum, and yum again! For our entrees, we split the vegetable curry and the buttered chicken (both mild plus spice level). I found the curry to be a bit on the sweet side with a spicy kick at the end, but my fiancé did not find it to be sweet at all. Neither of us found the butter chicken to be spicy, so we probably could have gone up a spice level on that one. Everything we ate was delicious and we would definitely go again for these same items and to try others! We went on a Friday night at 6:30pm and it was completely dead which was very sad, there were only two other tables besides us, and three pickup orders came through while we were there. They have only been around for a few months, but I am really hoping people start giving this place a go because not only is the food very tasty, but the space and ambience is really great too, the staff was all also super friendly!

Stacie with Offline - Fantastic food and service! Cute vibe and lots of TVs to watch games if you're into sports! We had the Chicken Korma, Paneer Makhni with Bharta and Jalapeño Cheese Naan. We also had a Jaipuri Sampsa appetizer. Everything was amazing, including the drinks. I had a Mojito with Tito's and my gf had a Sex on the Beach. I definitely want to return to try the buffet.

Second visit to this spot and another great meal! The momos were really delicious, a slight hint of spices that really kicks the flavor up. Samosa chaat is always a hit as well!

Family owned business I think, newly opened. We tried it for the first time today, got takeout chicken tikka masala and butter chicken, both were really good. Authentic and flavorful, not overwhelmingly creamy. Each order came with a side of rice, standard price range ($18-22 per main dish). We also ordered garlic naan (can't go wrong), and I think they included a free rice pudding dessert. Staff was super friendly, we like supporting local businesses so will go back and try dining in next time! Interior - Looks like there is a big bar to sit at with a couple TVs playing sports, along with spacious dining area. I think the windows all open to the outdoor too which will probably be nice in when the weather gets warm again.

Really tasty Indian food! It was empty on a Sunday evening, and I have no idea why. The food was great, and they had a good cocktail list. The indoor space was spacious and had a good atmosphere with a big open window against one wall. I would certainly go back.

Stumbled across this place and I'm glad I did, yummy and perfect for a cold night. The food was authentic and filling. I also got a hot chai tea and it was delicious! I could have drank another. The staff was also super nice. Will be back

But this place completely changed my take on this. Most of the crowd in here was... well... not Indian which was not uncommon for Denver. When we ordered the Kadai Paneer and the Daal Makhni and told them to make it super spicy... they did. And the flavors literally took us back home. This wasn't just the best Indian food in Denver... but it was one of the Top 10 Indian food we've ever had outside of India. It even put some of the places in India to shame. Super fresh ingredients, made to order unlike most places who have the curries and daals ready. The naan was made fresh as well and not reheated frozen stuff which many restaurants still serve at high pricepoints. The service was topnotch as well. Ambiance was quite cozy and not super loud despite how busy it got after about 7pm. Definitely our go-to Indian in Denver... never thought I'd have an Indian spot in Denver I would crave going to again and again.

Ambiance was okay - nothing special - but our seats were comfortable. Parking was an issue since Maria Empanadas and other local restaurants were busy, but we found a spot within a block. All pointing to an excellent experience. The timing was right for my husband and I to come for a Sunday lunch. The service was fast and friendly. We started with potato sliders that were really good but not as good as our main courses. My husband opted for the lamb tiki masala and I opted for the eggplant (Baingan Bharta) Thali meal. The dal soup and spiced potatoes that came in the Thali were incredible. My favorite part was the chai though. I cannot drink milk and the alternative was oat milk. This was one of the best chais I have had in my life. So so good.

The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!

Gaia Masala & Burger: Where Smash Burgers Meet Curry House Comfort…read more Gaia Masala & Burger has built an intriguing niche by blending Indian comfort food with American fast-casual favorites. With locations stretching from San Francisco to Kansas City and New York City, plus four outposts across Northern Colorado, the concept has clearly found an audience eager for culinary crossovers. Our visit took us to the Denver location at 6th Avenue and Grant Street, tucked into a modest strip mall parking lot shared with a Wendy's--a decidedly unassuming setting for a menu that promises far more adventure than its surroundings suggest. The dining experience begins with a bit of uncertainty. Upon entering, it's not immediately clear whether guests should seat themselves or order first. A small "Order Here" sign pointed us toward the register, but we were escorted to a table by a server who proceeded to take the order there. It wasn't a major issue, but it set the tone for a service experience that felt a little disjointed throughout the meal. Fortunately, the menu quickly shifted our attention. Gaia's offerings are expansive, ranging from traditional Indian dishes to playful fusion creations. To get a broad sense of what they do, we ordered a signature item, something entirely new to us, and a classic Indian entrée. The signature choice was the Beef Tikka Masala Burger, a creation that perfectly captures the restaurant's concept--recently featured in Denver Post's "5 of the most underrated burgers in Denver." Built in the style of a juicy smash burger, it arrived topped with marinated cucumbers and a creamy masala sauce. Guests choose both the burger's temperature and spice level; we opted for well-done and mild. Despite the well-done preparation, the burger remained impressively juicy and flavorful. The masala brought warmth and depth without overwhelming the beef. Next time, I'd probably venture up to the "Mild Plus" spice level for a little extra kick. Our adventurous selection was the Dry Chili Paneer, an appetizer that immediately became one of the highlights of the meal. Despite its name, there was nothing remotely dry about it. Large cubes of paneer were sautéed in a savory soy-based sauce packed with fresh chilies and vibrant flavor. Spice levels range from one to six, and even at level one, a few bites carried a surprising spark of heat. The balance of richness, saltiness, and spice made this dish both addictive and memorable. For our traditional entrée, we chose the Chicken Korma. Served alongside rice, the korma leaned slightly more turmeric-forward than many versions I've encountered, but the flavor was warm, comforting, and well-rounded. Generous pieces of chicken and chunks of cashew throughout the sauce added both substance and texture, making it a satisfying and flavorful classic. The timing of the meal, however, was somewhat unusual. The burger arrived nearly five minutes before either the appetizer or the korma, which disrupted the flow of sharing dishes at the table, as well as the delay of utensils. Seeing a soda fountain in the dining room, we ordered fountain drinks, but were a little confused it was not self-serve nor were free refills offered. Another eyesore was the heap of dirty dishes that were bussed from the empty tables to the area right next to the soda fountain, instead of hidden and out of sight. Service remained pleasant but somewhat inattentive, and we ultimately had to flag down our server to request the check. While the dine-in experience left room for improvement, the food itself made a strong impression. Gaia Masala & Burger succeeds where it matters most: delivering bold flavors and creative combinations that feel more thoughtful than gimmicky. The menu still offers plenty of territory worth exploring, including fusion items like Mediterranean pizzas and calzones that further showcase the restaurant's willingness to experiment. For us, Gaia feels less like a destination dining experience and more like a future delivery favorite. With availability across all major delivery platforms and a menu packed with craveable options, it's easy to imagine these dishes becoming regular additions to a takeout rotation. The service may not inspire a special trip back to dine in, but the food is compelling enough that we'll certainly be ordering again.
