I past this Indian restaurant frequently in my ongoing long distance walks (I average 15K to 20K steps) in central Denver. This time I stopped for lunch. I was the only dine-in customer. This location is very colorful and has a full bar. They have cocktails, beer and wine. Typical big menu for Indian restaurants. I started with my favorite yogurt drink, a Mango Lassi. Large glass for $4.79; I was served by Ashok. He was attentive. I got the Mushroom Manchurian appetizer. I requested Indian hot spice levels and it was. Next was the Chicken Shahenshah, a dish with tender chicken cooked in a sauce of coconut and fennel. I asked for this entree to be served Indian hot. Very good. It was served with a large bowl of yellow basmati rice. I ate 1/2 and the rest home. They offer another favorite dessert, Gujar Halwa. This is a sweetened finely chopped hot carrot pudding. Yummy. I saw a steady stream of delivery persons coming in to pickup orders. Just before I left to walk home, I saw 3 parties come in to eat.

    Tofu Saag & Naan

This was a to-go order, so I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant or the table service, but I can speak to the food! Vegetarians/vegans would be pleased to know that there are a plethora of options, as is often the case at Indian restaurants. Meat eaters, too, have plenty of options. The menu seemed more varied than menus at most South Asian restaurants. That's a plus! I had the tofu saag with an order of naan. The tofu saag was delicious. It was my first time eating this dish, and it was great. The ratio of tofu to the creamy spinach was perfect--they didn't skimp out on the tofu at all like I expected. The tofu's consistency was perfect. The saag itself was not spicy. I was expecting to run out of naan before finishing the saag, but I was pleasantly surprised that the portion size of the naan was big enough so that I could use it to eat all the saag! (I used the naan to scoop up the saag as if I were using injera to eat Ethiopian food.) It was delicious and fresh. Everything came hot and ready to eat. I had leftovers of my meal for the next day, and both the saag and naan did well after being heated up in the microwave. After finishing, I washed the saag container so that I can reuse it. Would recommend!

The owners of this place are incredibly generous, serving large dishes that can feed multiple people. We planned to order main dishes, but we soon found we couldn't even finish our 4 appetizers. The service was quick and friendly: we received our food within 5 minutes after our order. The menu is incredibly diverse and has many different options. The food itself, however, lacks in some of the flavors you would expect in this type of cuisine. I do think this place is a good business, but for us, the food just fell a little short. Might be back to give it another chance when we're back in the area.

    Good prices!

The food here is really excellent and the drink prices can't be beaten! Check out my drink menu photos to see the prices I'm referring to. The food menu is huge, so come with some patience and some time to read through the creative variety of foods! This is an experience after all, right?! I tried the mushroom manchurian appetizer and it reminded me of chicken wings without the chicken! The breading and sauces had all the flavors you'd expect in an app like wings. It's also topped with sesame seeds, FYI, for anyone with nut allergies. Also had the vegetable coconut soup, which was called vegetarian but above it the heading says "our favorite vegan soup" so I guess it's vegan! You'd never know it and if you're a meat eater, many of us are omnivores, but don't think twice about getting this soup and worry that you'll miss the meat. There is such flavor and spice in this soup! If you are sensitive to medium spice or spicier, definitely really talk with your server about what you order to make sure it's something that has heat or is available in completely mild. I would say overall here, they lean more towards medium-level spicy. Ethnic restaurants such as Tikka and Grill get underrepresented in the vegetarian and vegan lists, so let's start getting more of these included. The trendy (usually pricier spots) get pointed out and but we need these relevant, affordable, and knowledgeable neighborhood ethnic restaurants showcased more! Emphasis on "affordable" because no one needs to pay $24+ for a "cauliflower steak" which is one slice of a cauliflower head that costs about 3 bucks retail markup in the grocery store. Many people in India don't eat meat, so this culture is well-adjusted to offering non-meat options. And they do it right, with a massive ton of flavor! I'm sure it helps they've been preparing this type of food for years before it became trendy in the US! And don't worry about your meat-loving friends! Several dishes have meat options, many are chicken but you'll also find some seafood like shrimp or fish. Though beef isn't big in India as it is in the states, lamb is another option on the menu at Tikka and Grill. I've noticed there is a second location on 6th so I will have to check that one out, as well, and if that happens to be a better location for you, reader!

Tried this place for the first time a month ago and couldn't stop thinking about it so came back today. It was as delicious as I remember it and I'm already excited to go back again. I highly recommend trying the Momo's as a starter, you will not be disappointed. The curries were great as well. One tip: I generally like a little spice, so we ordered medium heat. Next time we will order hot since medium wasn't as spicy as we thought it would be. Overall: this place is great!

Once again Tikka n Grill hit the spot. Instead of eating in, i Got the butter chicken, manchurian mushrooms and naan to go. Absolutely delicious!!! I look forward to exploring more dishes that ive not tried before but this one was for me to share with a newbie to indian food. They loved it as well. Service was very prompt and food was hot even after the drive to parker.

This was very good, a bit spicy but I love the variety, I usually have the cauliflower one but great to try something different. They also provide free papad. For my main I got the Rajma and Aloo, This was very tasty, I really like the beans and sauce. Rice for days! I got garlic naan bread as well, I thought this was not as fluffy as other ones that I had, but it was very soft and still tasty. Environment Parking can get filled up pretty quick, not much parking on side, but street parking is available. This inside was nice and cozy. There were booth tables and regular tables. Niceness of the staff They seem to move quite quick. I was able to get what I needed to get. Dollar I thought it was more on the expensive side. Each dish was at least 15$ Yes/No I would return here to try the other items on the menu.

After a quick search for Indian restaurants in Denver, we came across Sukoon--and we are so glad we did. When we arrived, the restaurant was quiet with only a few tables occupied, which made us a bit uncertain at first. However, we were warmly greeted and seated by a gentleman who, I believe, was the owner. His hospitality set a welcoming tone for the evening. We decided to try a variety of appetizers, including samosas, papadi chaat, stuffed mushrooms, gobi Manchurian, and dal soup, as well as shrimp tandoori for our entrée. Every dish was exceptionally well-prepared--beautifully seasoned, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. Each bite was truly delightful. As we enjoyed our meal, we couldn't help but wonder why the restaurant wasn't busier. Sukoon is one of those rare finds you want to see thrive: outstanding food, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. When we finished, the owner stopped by to ask if it was our first visit. We told him it was--but certainly not our last. Sukoon is an excellent addition to Denver's dining scene, and I hope more people discover this gem. Highly recommended.

Gaia Masala & Burger was a great late-night find after a baseball game at Coors Field. One of the…read morebiggest advantages right off the bat: they're open until 3 a.m. We arrived around midnight with a group of five, ranging in age from our early 20s to 60, and even though the restaurant was fairly busy, we had no trouble getting a table. We decided this was the kind of menu that needed to be explored, so we ordered a broad selection and shared everything: the Masala Crusher, beef Philly cheesesteak, paneer pizza, vegan saag, baba ganoush, Philly masala cheese fries, garlic cheese naan, and honey naan. We ordered most things at about a 2 out of 4 spice level, and I would describe that as very mild. Nothing at that level was especially spicy to anyone in our group. The paneer pizza was my personal favorite. I absolutely loved it. The garlic cheese naan was also excellent. Several people at the table thought the saag was amazing, and the masala cheese fries were another big hit. The cheesesteak was probably the lowest on the list for me personally, but it was still good. That really describes the meal well: I had some definite winners and some dishes that were more "also-rans," while other people at the table had different favorites. We also had the baba ganoush, and I forgot to specifically ask for naan with it, so it came with pita. That was probably a little disappointing only because the naan here was so good. The Masala Mule was also very well received. I'm not really a drinker, but I had a sip and picked up a fairly strong grapefruit flavor. The people at our table who were actually drinking it enjoyed it quite a bit. Portions are generous. Very generous. The five of us ordered $103 worth of food before tax and tip, ate until everyone was satisfied, and still left with four boxes of leftovers. Our table was technically set for six, but it was fairly narrow, and once all of the dishes arrived there wasn't much extra room left. The one area where Gaia really did not work for me was the atmosphere. The music was very loud, with a lot of rap playing during our visit, and for me personally it made the meal less enjoyable. The younger members of our group were more comfortable with the vibe, although I wouldn't say everyone was completely into it. The metal chairs also were not especially comfortable. I think this is probably a much better fit for a 20- or 30-something late-night crowd than for someone looking for a relaxed dinner where conversation is part of the experience. That said, the food itself gave us plenty to like. Our group of five was overwhelmingly positive overall, averaging about 4.8 out of 5, so I'm giving Gaia five stars based on the group experience. Full disclosure, though: I was the outlier. Personally, I'd put it at about 4 out of 5. The loud atmosphere, uncomfortable chairs, and the fact that I had some clear favorites and some dishes I probably wouldn't rush to order again kept it from being a five-star experience for me personally. But the rest of the group was more enthusiastic across the board, and with five people trying this many different things and everyone finding something they really enjoyed, Gaia clearly did a lot right. If you're looking for adventurous late-night food in Denver, especially after a game or a night out, Gaia Masala & Burger is absolutely worth a try. And if I go back, the paneer pizza and garlic cheese naan will definitely be on my table again.

The fact that this place has in open kitchen until 2 AM, makes it a no-brainer for late night eats that are exceptionally delicious. I'm giving a four star rating is the ambience leaves much to be desired. The lighting is far too bright. There are fluorescent lights in the soft drink machines and harsh overhead lighting. A beautiful interior is almost as important to me as the food - but I know this is not the case for everyone. Overall, this is a stand out restaurant worth giving a try.
