This may be my favorite Desi food place now. The service is excellent, friendly and the spice level they say actually corresponds to the actual reality of the food which is good. The location is right next to Zam Zam store which is great in case you wanted to do a bit of Middle eastern shopping. Someone recommended this spots to me so my family and I went. They did not disappoint. Customer service was great and food was fresh and fast. I appreciated that the waiter inquired about food allergies (my family member has one). He answered any questions we had and was pleasant about it. We ordered the chicken lollipops, Singapore shrimp noodles w/ schezwan sauce, curry lamb w/ rice, curry lamb & goat, and naan (regular, cheese, and cheese and garlic). Everything was delicious. The shrimp in my noodles were plump and cooked to perfection. The noodles were flavorful and packed the perfect amount of heat (not overwhelming but enough to wake taste buds up). Absolutely 5 star in every way! A friend and I accidentally came here when we were looking for the previous restaurant occupant. It was our lucky day! The ambience of the restaurant was lovely for a true restaurant startup--clean and neat, tablecloths and real napkins. So happy to see that. These days, too often there are paper napkins and sometimes plastic silverware, which is not what I want at all. The staff was professional and did a wonderful job attending to us. They were happy to explain the dishes and proud of them. Impressive . And the main point is that everything we put in our mouths was absolutely delicious. Samosas--Yum. Dahl Soup--Divine. Garlic Naan--Hot and crispy and supple. Chicken Biryani, Roasted and Steamed Chicken, Saag Paneer, and Bhindi were cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. Chocolate and Mango Ice Cream were the perfect end. We had a charming conversation with the owner who had been the head chef at Taj Mahal for 7 years. How they must miss him. Ordered the chicken tikka masala, Indian strength, on their hotness scale of mild, medium, hot & Indian. I'm English so I'm used to hot Indian food. A couple of popadums and a side order of fries. Absolutely delicious. I could have had it a bit spicier but I assume for American palettes they tone it down a bit. I'm sure if I ask next time they can accommodate my taste. Plus tikka masala is generally a mild dish in the UK. Fries were surprisingly tasty and crunchy. Will definitely be back to try the vindaloo. read more

Amazing! My dentist recommended this place as I hadn't hear of them. I ordered it to-go during lunch rush and they had it ready in 15 minutes. The chicken tiki masala was the best I've ever had with the right spice (I ordered medium). You must order the garlic cheese naan. read more

This place is great! We walked in and immediately felt a sense of warmth and comfort. We were very excited to eat. After receiving our food mine turned out to be a bit too spicy. Even though I did not blame them at all, they still remade the whole dish to my liking and even gave us a great desert on the house for our trouble. Raj was an amazing waiter and treated us well! We visited this place on a whim while passing through from Tennessee. The service was great! The restaurant was nice and clean and the food was AMAZING!!! We love Indian food, and this was some of the very best we've ever eaten. I had the chicken biriyani. My husband had the aloo gobi. We also shared the cheese naan and a mango lassi. The Galub jamun was a perfect dessert. And then we took another mango lassi to go! We thoroughly enjoyed it!! I hope we can come back again sometime. read more

Three of us went on 8//8/23 and were very pleased with our food. Our meals were the chicken tikka biryani, lamb tikka biryani, and the chicken korma. The spice levels were 1 medium, and 2 "Indian" spicy, and they were perfect for the food. Great service. They've only been open for a little over a month, so go give them some business. read more

The service and food here were excellent beyond my greatest expectations. The presentation and plating of the shrimp appetizer was superb, as well as the flavor. The Lamb Curry in the Indian spice level was perfect. You can choose mild, medium, or Indian in the spice level and Indian is perfect. Excellent flavor and not just spiced for the sake of being hot. The service was amazing compared to anywhere else I've been the past few years. The rice pudding desserts are well worth getting as well. A true hidden gem of a restaurant. This new restaurant is a real treasure. Our food was, well, exquisite, with perfectly balanced spices and über-fresh ingredients. The service was prompt and helpful, and the decor was simple and clean, with authentic Indian music. Our server told us that the chef was at Taj Mahal for seven years, and this is his restaurant. With such fine food at good prices in a relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant is sure to please. It's a lovely treat for the Colony West/Sturbridge/Echo Valley neighborhoods, and well as Leawood and environs. We're so glad the chef chose to open his restaurant in the Breckenridge area rather than farther West. This part of town is a gem that deserves the best! read more
