I feel like Indian Jones in raiders of the lost ark, or was it the temple of doom? On a grand adventure in a foreign land, the spread before me nothing short of incredible, the smells, rich of earthen delights. Flavor so deep, like an orca chasing a seal into the Mariana Trench. And yet as I open my eyes, I'm here. Sitting at a table in Georgia. Spoon in hand. Content. Clean table settings, bottles of water, and a friendly waiter. Life couldn't be more amazing. 2 thumbs my guy. #smokecookeat

I learned about this place from my Indian patient's son when I asked him about the best Indian place in the area. It took me about a year before I finally got here as this was about 2 hours away from where I live. Lots of parking in the area as this was located in a strip mall. Ambiance was nice, not fast food and definitely not Indian-American disguising as authentic Indian restaurant. This is the real deal y'all! Spice is unapologetic, not adjusted by default to cater to those who can't handle spice however you can always ask for mild spice level. If you don't like spicy food, what in the world are you doing in an Indian restaurant? If the only spices you like are pepper and salt, maybe you should be going to Popeyes? I just can't process the complaints of some people here. Everything we ordered met/exceeded our expectation. Or maybe it's because our expectation was so low because Asian restaurants in South Georgia have been adjusting their spice levels (or using only pepper and curry?! How dare you?!) to cater to the locals' tastebuds (I'm looking at you, Albany!). Serving size is good, although it may not look much in the photo, I assure you that there's so much more in those bowls and plates. If you're eating alone I would suggest Biryani (take your pick!) as it has basmati rice and the meat of your choice. It won't disappoint! The waiter who served as was Raj who was eager to guide us through the menu but we already knew what we wanted. He was constantly checking on us and offered us a box for the food we can't finish.

The chicken tikka masala was inadequately spiced and scarce on chicken.

I hate to leave a poor review but I have to. The facility was nicely decorated and the employees were courteous. But the prices were much higher than what was published on their webpage, so I had a bit of sticker shock. The disappointment really kicked in when I started eating the chicken tikka masala. It was too bland and had few chunks of chicken in it, compared to other Indian restaurants I have experienced.

I wanted some butter chicken so I went here for some and it was delicious and an order of karma samosa. The food was really good. Food was spiced really well and enough for leftovers

    Hair and undercooked Fish Amritsari

Ordered the mango lassi (delicious and super creamy), appetizer of fish amritsari (fried pieces served piping hot), and Tikka platter mix (on a sizzling skillet). Overall the tikka platter and fish were good and flavorful, but a couple of the pieces of fish (tilapia) were undercooked - translucent in the middle (see photo). I was able to overlook the undercooked fish and didn't think it was worth a compliant, but later in the meal found a hair in my Tikka platter (also in photo). Main complaint and reason for the 2 star rating is that when I brought both the fish and hair to the attention of my waitress she only replied with "OK". I feel that at a minimum she should have told the manager and had him come talk to me.

Eh. Service was ok. Food was dry. Took about 90 mins to get to table. They're short staffed like the rest of the industry.

    Chicken Dum Biryani

Very, very good Indian food. Tasty and appropriately spiced. My only complaint would be the amount of meat in the dishes. I doubt there was four ounces of chicken per entree, which cost $18-$24 each. One star deducted for not so great value

Nice atmosphere but feed is only average for the price. I recommend Metropolis over Curry Mantra.

Very tasty, tried something new and loved it. Nicely appointed dining room, great service, clean restrooms. We will definitely return.

He was a very cool guy and even helped carry my food to the car because my hands were full with my son and his car seat, which I truly appreciated. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and full of flavor. I ordered the goat curry with plain white rice and a side of onion salad. Everything tasted amazing and you could tell it was made fresh. My total came to about $27 and some change, which felt very reasonable for the quality and portion size. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and looking for good, flavorful food and friendly service.

Although it's small and has only two tables, food is prepared once it's ordered, so it's really fresh! Best thing here was the tandoori half portion that we ordered. It was flavorful and the salad underneath had a nice crunch and made the meal more refreshing. I would get it again if I were to return. The curries, green chicken saagwala and bhuna murgh masala, were spiced but not spicy. We would've enjoyed them more had they been spicy, and I expected the bhuna murgh to be because it said hot & spicy, but it wasn't. The small garlic naan we ordered were alright. They tasted good and were indeed small, yet for some reason the middle was dry and crunchy while the outer was soft and fluffy. We got takeout, and I just wish we got the samosas we ordered. We should've checked, but we didn't, and it was too late to really go back.

I believe they get more foot traffic from to go orders by hospital staff, as we had the place to ourselves. Ambiance is modern and table set ups appealing. Our server was very kind and not overbearing, able to help us decide what to get since we wanted to step away from our norm and had kids who don't have quite the palate yet! They got the chicken majestic which is more of a yogurt based chicken, mild and easy. We adults wanted something spicy, and the Desi Chicken Curry had the sweat beads flowing! But it was a very good flavor, it crept up on you. Of course, I always have to have pakora, this mixed pakora was a hit with everyone. Loved the mint chutney and brown sauce. The jasmine rice was a sufficient amount to feed all. The one thing I didn't care for was the salted lassi. It had a pungent egg/sulfuric punch to it. I think our server realized we weren't fans and offered us a mago lassi. Not being a fan of mango, the kids slurped it down quickly and loved it. We will certainly be back!
