Stopped in for a lonely Valentine's Day dinner while on the road away from loved ones and wanted some spice to warm up my cold and sad heart and I was not disappointed! I was sat quickly in a comfortable booth and brought a water without asking by my very friendly waiter. The menu had broad selection of Indian cuisine with plenty of vegetarian and carnivore choices. I started my meal with some tasty veggie samosas. They came out quickly and hot and had the perfect amount of seasoning for me coming with both cilantro and sweet chutneys. Yum! My main course was a tasty paneer chili fry. I ordered it hot and boy was it spicy! Most Indian restaurants seem to dial down the heat, even when ordering "Indian Hot", but they sure did not here! Keto Options! I love Indian food but because of my diet, can't eat rice so I can't eat much Indian. This place advertises a lunch buffet on their website so I figured I would be able to get by. Well the website is way out of date because there is no more buffet. I was happy to see a section of the menu that offers meats and fishes served on top of vegetables without rice. I got the salmon tika and it was very tasty but for $26, I would expect a little more food. And check out my photo for the 'veggies'. A few shreds of romaine lettuce with some onions. Still, it was good and I was happy to have it. The free bottled water was a nice touch. The website also shows a Duluth location but it's been closed for some time now. read more

I learned about this place from my Indian patient's son when I asked him about the best Indian place in the area. It took me about a year before I finally got here as this was about 2 hours away from where I live. Lots of parking in the area as this was located in a strip mall. Ambiance was nice, not fast food and definitely not Indian-American disguising as authentic Indian restaurant. This is the real deal y'all! Spice is unapologetic, not adjusted by default to cater to those who can't handle spice however you can always ask for mild spice level. If you don't like spicy food, what in the world are you doing in an Indian restaurant? If the only spices you like are pepper and salt, maybe you should be going to Popeyes? I just can't process the complaints of some people here. Everything we ordered met/exceeded our expectation. Or maybe it's because our expectation was so low because Asian restaurants in South Georgia have been adjusting their spice levels (or using only pepper and curry?! How dare you?!) to cater to the locals' tastebuds (I'm looking at you, Albany!). Serving size is good, although it may not look much in the photo, I assure you that there's so much more in those bowls and plates. If you're eating alone I would suggest Biryani (take your pick!) as it has basmati rice and the meat of your choice. It won't disappoint! The waiter who served as was Raj who was eager to guide us through the menu but we already knew what we wanted. Update: I went there on the 2 Sept 22 and things have gotten much better. They hired a new waiter and he's great. He smells great and is very attentive. Our whole experience shifted with this change. There have been other changes too, back to cloth napkins, real plates and utensils, and water in a water jug... versus all paper and water bottles. The food has always and continues to be great. The only reason that I didn't give the 5 star rating is 2 fold, the booths need some TLC and the there is a gratuity added to the bill. I understand that now, gratuities have decreased due to the economy... but I don't love this practice read more

Came here for lunch and decided on the buffet and was not disappointed. One thing I loved about it was that the food at the buffet was all spicy with a kick--which is an improvement on how some Indian restaurants will lower the spice level for the buffet. The best thing I got was the Biryani Rice, but everything was really excellent. I was particularly impressed at how the naan was delicious and just the right texture even after being in the buffet. All told, highly recommended (again). read more

Unfortunately, the air conditioning system is inoperable in this facility. My family was miserable during this time. We ordered butter naan for an appetizer. For some reason it came out with the whole meal. The tilapia tiki was not worth $20! Very expensive restaurant that provided smaller portions for each entree. read more

I went here on October 4, 2022, and asked if they still have the buffet? I was told that they "do not have the buffet because/since Covid" and when I asked if they are going to bring it back, I was told "not likely". This is a shame, I really do enjoy Indian food about as much as I enjoy Chinese food, however, I like to get more verity in my dish than just 1 protein, rice, and veggies... and when I go to a "order" restaurant, I pay so much more for no options. I really hope the Indian restaurants see the buffet as a way to get people in, I'm sure this place used to be busy during the lunch buffet, as opposed to how dead it was in there when I went to check. read more

Food is excellent and the ambience is very nice. Relaxing music and polite, friendly service. We would like to suggest a Buffett at lunch so the base employees could come during their lunch break. A Buffett is faster when you have a limited amount of time for your lunch break. It also gives people who are new to Indian food a chance to see all the different options. read more

It's a shame to see the service here go downhill. We came early on a Sunday and were 1 of only 2 parties at the restaurant. When we asked about if they still had a buffet the host rudely said no without looking at us and walked away. We weren't even sure she had answered our question at first and had to ask again. When we were seated, we had to ask several times for the bread we ordered for our kids. After about 30 mins of waiting we left. The servers were very disinterested and rude. It's a shame because the food here used to be great. I really hope they turn it around, we used to like going here with our family. read more

I hate to leave a poor review but I have to. The facility was nicely decorated and the employees were courteous. But the prices were much higher than what was published on their webpage, so I had a bit of sticker shock. The disappointment really kicked in when I started eating the chicken tikka masala. Ordered the mango lassi (delicious and super creamy), appetizer of fish amritsari (fried pieces served piping hot), and Tikka platter mix (on a sizzling skillet). Overall the tikka platter and fish were good and flavorful, but a couple of the pieces of fish (tilapia) were undercooked - translucent in the middle (see photo). I was able to overlook the undercooked fish and didn't think it was worth a compliant, but later in the meal found a hair in my Tikka platter (also in photo). Main complaint and reason for the 2 star rating is that when I brought both the fish and hair to the attention of my waitress she only replied with "OK". I feel that at a minimum she should have told the manager and had him come talk to me. read more

Honestly, it's quite expensive for the portion you get. Ordered one plate thinking it would be sufficient for 2 maybe 3 people.(based off of prior portions from other Indian places). When the food came out. It was enough for one and maybe a second person... appetizers weren't the best either... $95+ for 2 plates, 3 naan, 2 drinks and 2 appetizers. This is a solid 4.5 -4.8 restaurant. Good service and great Indian cuisine. One of the best I have had in a long time. Got me the mango lassi; did not disappoint. We ordered chicken tikka Masala, butter chicken, goat curry, chicken chilly, vegetable curry, and the chicken tandoori for 5 of us. All were great. Portion is quite small compare to other Indian restaurant that I am use to, but I guess you can say good thing comes in small packages. Must try if you want Indian in the central Georgia. The food is good. There are no complaints. I do wish they had a Buffett option. The service is not as good. There is only one man serving all of the customers by himself. Then it seems as though everytime I got here the server preps this big long table for a large party. I don't know whether the party is VIP or family but they get far quicker service. At the end of my meal me and my party are always looking for the server so we can get the check. Do go there hungry or you'll starve before your food comes. No, the portion was incredibly small and I ate it all in one sitting (and I usually don't eat everything in one sitting). The food was decent, but for the price, I really did wish there was more. The rice didn't contain any cumin seeds, which saddened me since I typically like my Indian rice with them...but I did like the warm spices in the rice. The garlic naan was pretty good, although a bit crunchy and it seemed like some spots were burnt (black, not deep brown). However, the worst part of the meal was the samosas....yuck! Food was delicious! After reading several 5-star reviews We stopped for a quick dinner. Per reviews, the food was great. The naan bread basket, chicken makhani and vegetable Jalfrezy was made to perfection. Pakora and lemon coriander soup was great too. They served complementary fryums as starter. Highly recommended. Curry Mantra was a quick stop for us on I-75 on our way to Atlanta. It was a good decision to stop and eat here instead of eating at a fast food place. The tandoori malai chicken was cooked to almost perfection it had a lot of flavor and was moist and juicy. The lamb Seekh kababs were not my favorite. The Saag Paneer was also alright. The thing that bothered me was they served the dish in disposable containers which was did not make a good presentation. read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars because, for being in a somewhat small town, it's a pretty good Indian restaurant. The food was good and service was friendly. They were one of the few restaurants open on Christmas and as a family traveling for Christmas we were happy to find them. Love this place. Some of the flavors are different from what I've had at other Indian restaurants, paneer tikka masala (more of a yellow sauce and sweeter) and it's SOOO GOOD. Love their Kashmeri naan, a sweet naan that helps cut some of the heat of their spice.
