I've always had helpful and friendly service whenever I've walked in here - and have actually been pleasantly surprised to discover that I've also never left without the item I was looking for. It may look small, but this shopkeeper seems to have a sixth sense for what his customers will inevitably need.

Other departments include beds and bedding see the new high quality Hotel range bathroom, kitchen, lighting, furniture, rugs, quilts, and the store's famous Market Place where there are extra bargains to be found and this section is constantly changing. We bought curtain poles and hard to get things like curtain hooks which cost pennies. I had a lie down and a bounce on a memory foam bedI want one! They also had nice servicable blinds and things like picnic sets and hobby carry cases. After all that shopping there is the store's own Coffee Shop which offers a full range of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Good value for household goods and fabrics.

I'm not sure what happens to my brain in this place but I suddenly want to buy everything in the shop for my own kitchen. Extra brownie points for the friendly happy staff that served me at the till - she was so sweet she even had me signing up to their email mailing list which I usually avoid at all costs. Most of the staff on the shop floor seemed to just be chatting to each other - but I actually preferred not being harassed. The products all seem to sell themselves anyway! They have a range of value to premium brands, and for added smugness I found the branded draining mat was more than twice the price in John Lewis next door straight after this ;)
