I called and he was to our house to review in just a few days. He needed a programmer and offered us a choice of standard or Wi-Fi. We went with the Wi-Fi and he came back a few days later to install. He did great work and ensured that the app was working. The tree that killed our sprinkler head required him to cut the root of the tree. I could not believe the size of what he pulled out. I am a remote homeowner in The Villages, living 1,200 miles away. I called over a month ago,…read moreexplained my situation, and was told no problem -- booked an appointment for a Tuesday between 2-4pm. At 3:30 no one had shown up and no one called. When I reached out, a woman answered from a personal vehicle with a child in the background and apologized saying they were busy. Rescheduled for Thursday, then pushed to Friday when I would actually be on site. Friday morning I called and texted to confirm. Was told staff was 6 minutes away. They arrived 90 minutes later -- two full-size trucks with trailers. Despite the trailers, they had no stock to perform a simple repair. The job: one frozen sprinkler head needed replacement. Their recommendation: replace all heads and all valves for $2,900. The valves are all working fine. When I questioned it, they said they couldn't do the work for a couple of weeks anyway as they'd need to order parts. I was never told there was a $95 diagnostic fee when I booked. I paid it in cash for 10 minutes of work and a recommendation to replace equipment that doesn't need replacing. As a remote homeowner I depend on honest, reliable contractors. This company failed on both counts.
