I called Tony's Plumbing and played phone tag with a guy named Richard for about 2 weeks. We…read morefinally set a day to come out and see why a toilet was leaking. He came out took toilet off and said that I should finish putting down my peel and stick flooring and call him when I was done, and he would come back and install my toilet. He stated it would cost me another $95 service call. Richard said I would thank him later. I agreed to leave toilet off to get my floor level and tile down, then call him back. That was Monday and today is Thursday. I called Richard and he returned my call. I said I was ready to have him come back. And by the way, did you happen to take the short hose that connected to my water supply and the screws that were laying in the upside down toilet lid (T bolts to screw toilet back down). Richard said "yes" we always take the hose because "once they are opened to air" "those hose seals dry out". He said we replace them with a new hose, when we come back out. He said. Those hoses and screws will cost $50, plus $95 trip charge to come back out. I said Richard "can I please have the hose and T bolts that go to my toilet, back"? He said "no". So Tony's Plumbing stole the hose and T bolts to my toilet. He never told me he was taking them or why. So Richard, (the guy who is trying to buy Toni's Plumbing) from the old owner, is not only sloppy plumber, he is a thief. My toilet was a raised newer Eljer toilet. Buyer beware

I got a phone call in about 5 minutes and it was from George he said he would be in Shannon IL in 30 minutes. He was and fixed the problem the same day for me. That is the BEST service one could ever ask for. Our local plumber would not give me the time of day or referral to someone that could help. He took out my old unit (suggested that I dust the area before installing the new...), installed my new one (after the aforementioned dusting was approved...), and charged me such a RIDICULOUSLY low amount that I'd ave sworn he was joking--I'M NOT KIDDING!! This is ABSOLUTELY the person YOU want to call--NO BS and consummate professionalism!!
