Since 2023, we have: -Installed new Gas Furnace -Installed new AC -Installed new humidifier -Installed condensation pump -Signed up for the No Problem Club program thing (seasonal services so I don't have to think) -Flushed the Water Heater And now, today, we repiped the entire house. From the main to each and every fixture. On recommendation of Brian Ceroni, who was at my house working the Rockford Water Project contract (he installed my water main), I requested Doug and Craig to do this job (which was already scheduled). They arrived promptly and with an apprentice. These three busted it out. Professional, clean, FRIENDLY. I did my best to stay out of the way, but got curious (and entirely too excited) about this job. Ha! It was a looooooong day for them, truly. And I felt bad wanting to ask a ton of questions after the work was done, but... it had to be done. They were patient with me and told me to stop apologizing. That's rare these days. I know exactly how all my plumbing works now. I know where all my valves are (so many! Per my request). The best part was getting in the shower tonight and I could immediately tell my water pressure was better, and the old 1959 galvanized plumbing noises were gone. I went into the basement after, just to see if there were any wet spots--so far, so good! This actually gives me hope that I can delay two total bathroom renovations until 2028. (I am a planner.) All in all, I cannot speak more highly about Pearson. I'm beyond stoked with them, I've never had a bad experience. Jane, in the office, is amazing too! They all are! The front desk gal (sorry don't know her name) took the time to explain some things to me when I went to drop off a check, and wow. No one has ever treated me like I'm bothering them or a burden. I had Pearson Plumbing come to my house in Rockford for a sewage backup in my finished basement…read more They were dishonest and incompetent. They claimed to have run a 2" blade 100 feet in a blocked pipe and said it was "Good To Go." The sewage back-up continued and two subsequent plumbers said Pearson could never have run a 2" blade 100 feet. Pearson came back to correct the issue, but did not have the promised hydrojetting equipment needed for the job. This was a waste of our time and money! Pearson could not find a clean out drain and wanted to charge extra for a different "access". Our new plumber easily found the clean out drain in the bathroom. BUYER BEWARE!! USE A DIFFERENT PLUMBER.

I realize that it is only an estimate, but I would think that anyone that has been in business that long could give a better estmate than that. the work was good, but it was supposed to be good. the plumber, dave, was on time, but he was supposed to be on time. when I told dave that the estimate that they gave me was $450.00 he said I didn't tell you that. it was rob that told you that. is that the way they operate? I guess so. they did it to me. rob is what they did to me. BAIT and SWITCH. this work was done 2/9/23

Called for a simple leaking drain in my tub, took two visits and this company still couldn't figure…read moreout the simple problem (misaligned rubber O ring on tub drain). Plumber did not inspect the pipes, use a snake camera, or take anything apart on either visit. Visit #1: Showed the plumber the source of the dripping by turning the shower water on. Plumber was convinced it was a loose faucet, so he put caulk around the seal and told me not to use the tub/shower for a day. This obviously didn't work. Visit #2: Leaking persisted the next day when testing the water. Plumber came out, but I was unable to make the drips occur (although there was water on the floor of the basement and in a bucket). Plumber said there is nothing he could do - Did not inspect or diagnose anything. Called another plumber and it was a misaligned rubber O ring on the tub drain (new construction home). Five Star Plumbing left me with no real work done and black fingerprints all along my hallway and bathroom walls.

Requested to have our sump pump looked at as it stopped working…read more Quoted to replace sump pump, which we proceeded with, knowing it was over priced, for the convenience of just getting it done quickly. After the pump was replaced, they tell us we cannot use the pump until the pit is cleaned by another party. This should have been communicated before the pump was replaced, we assumed the cleaning would have been done as part of the replacement.
