My service ended up being a lot more complicated than I was originally prepared for and I ended up having to come back multiple times. I really appreciated that everytime I stopped by, the guys working recognized me and already knew what was going on so I never had to repeat myself. They were all extremely professional and went out of their way to walk me through procedures and made personal recommendations for replacement parts. My computer is working better than it has in years now and I'm so thankful. It took a while (through no fault of theirs), but they accomplished exactly what I needed to happen. I waited over an hour and my service tech was helping someone else. I asked if it's ok to go to my car for about 20 minutes and was told yes and to just take my phone. I did what I needed and went back only to be told they had NO certified tech able to do the actual work. Which means I spent over 90 minutes waiting to be told I would have to make a new appointment. I had already drive. 45 minutes for this appointment and it was just a waste of my time and gas.

The young man was polite and tried to be helpful, but he had to call the other store to locate my account. After that, I was told that because I was paying over the amount due, he would have to call his general manager to get approval. What? Ha ha. Pluged back in 3 days now freezer 0 degrees working great . Went to jos store to see if he could give me one of those used glass fuses...their vary commen...NOPE. So he got my $120.00 check for 5minites of Bullshit and my compressor is perfect .. oh yea also. Jos sAid when he was here after his service work..THAT HE WOULD PICKUP AND HAUL OFF MY BROKIN GARBAGE SIDE BY SIDE FRIDGE FOR FREE FOR PARTS...yea you mean turn around and sell it $500.00. A young man named Alexx Stanner jumped my case saying I was racist because the gentleman that I was trying to talk to was black. He also told me to get lost and go to Aaron's. It's an as is sale, which is no warranty" jason said! It's brand new, so we did not worry. They delivered it that evening and when they left my house i noticed a leg was broken and they did not deliver any of the cushions with it. Next morning I went to rent a center and spoke with Charles the driver and showed pictures of the broken leg. They said they would get there when his boss jason showed up but he's going through alot of family personnel stuff so we don't know when we can come get it. I went home and waited and After calling them multiple times and spoke with Charles everytime,, I kept getting the run around on pick up times. I started asking for Jason and evrytime Charles would tell me Jason is with a customer and he will call you when he's done. Well after getting this 3-4 different calls I told Charles, "I'm a dam customer and I'm a cash customer, so I'm listening to a female laugh at me during these calls and other employees laughing and commenting, " oh he's trying to get his money back, good luck" UNQUOTE! Charles has me on speaker phone every phone call. I finally spoke with Jason and he said he would send the guys out to get the couch after lunch and I will try and get a replacement from another store because my boss and corporate don't allow refunds on cash sales! Now it took a couple more calls to get Charles to come get the couch and he came alone knowing im disabled. He showed up alone and needed my help or he couldn't do it, so I had to help even though I'm disabled and got hurt helping him do his job. I than asked about a receipt ot replacement and he said, "I'm just the driver, you need to speak with jason", OH I see where this is going. I spoke with Jason and he said I need to dispute the charge to get my money back because his boss and corporate dont allow refunds on cash sales, I said it's on a credit card. WOW, im a DISABLED SENIOR VET and this is how Rent a Center treated me?? HUMILIATES, DEGRADES AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED SENIOR VET, !!! What next??

(And yes, it is a small business, Todd is often the sole employee with one or two max young helpers; usually his sons). Shipping heavy stoves is very expensive, and occasionally he has to adjust the shipping prices. I know from experience crazy amounts of duty and import charges can occur and at times likely he has absorbed costs to make them as affordable as possible for people. SilverFire also does great humanitarian work; check out their website pictures and videos. Google Youtube videos for accurate reviews of this company and their products and you'll see that these stoves work great and are perfect in this COVID day...perfect for off-grid cooking and emergency water and food prep, etc. They also sell things like solar lanterns, really quick boiling kettles, solar ovens (I have one that I use in sunny California), etc. I also own the scout stove and that's my fave quick little one that works super efficiently.

I hiked up to the top of a small peak in the cascades and used some pine ones to heat up some water for food with the scout. It was snowing at the time! We use the pizza oven for pizza (obviously) but it's great for anything you would use a normal oven for. We used to lose power a lot in our last house and it was great to be able to cook food even when the power was out. Highly recommended. I think some people are expecting amazon levels of service...
