To be honest this is THE BEST TOWING that I have ever called out. Curt was literally a life saver. I would have to say this in the beggining that I'm highly recommending Curt's towing. Customer service 10/10 Towing work 10/10 Time wise work 10/10 I had a delivery in the country right after the snow storm. And even though I was 30000 o couldn't beat this steep uphill. When I got stuck I tried to put chains on, tried to get out, it was all pointless I just have wasted my energy for nothing. I had no choice but to find a towing. Every and each towing I called they told me crazy prices and they were closest to my location. Last and furthest location was Curt's Towing. So when I called, the lady at the phone asked me all questions nicely she gave me an accurate ETA of an hour for the drivers arrival. Curt himself arrived 10 minute late even though everything was covered in ice. Like I have said the nicest towing driver I have ever met. After he took me out of a ditch, he didn't just asked for money and left, he was really nice to come up to me and ask me if I would be able yo climb up on that hill. I told him I wouldn't. On 11-4-2024, my car would not start, call Curt's, they referred me to kingdom auto because they say Kingdom does such a great job. Dan at kingdom auto says it's the battery. Pay Curt's and I pay kingdom auto. 12-10-2024, the car does not want to start again. Kurt tows the car to kingdom. Dan tells me it's the starter this time. Pay for the tow and pay for the work done by kingdom. 12-12-2024. Out and about running errands and when I come Back to my car to drive home, guess what happens? The car will not start. Jen at Curt's tells me manager is not available and I leave my number so the manger can call me. Still waiting on that call. I feel like Curt's towing gave me a bad referral and I feel like I should be reimbursed for the towing on 12-8-2024. i also feel kingdom should reimburse me for the labor on 12-8-2024. Dan at Kingdom auto wants me to bring back into the shop for a third time but will not give me a refund. I would not recommend kingdom auto to anyone after my experience. My vehicle was 9 miles from their shop. I needed it towed less than a mile from its location. Betty charged me $103 and sent a driver who needed my help to get my vehicle out of a store parking space to be hooked up. Absolutely insane. Do not waste time or money with this scam job. I had to use my own physical labor and was charged more than 20% higher than the average for that situation plus a surprise $5 charge for using my debit card. I do not recommend Curts. read more

My Toyota Prius slipped on ice and spun out into a ditch, and we were so lucky that both us and the car were unharmed. Terrible potholes on I-55 resulted in an unexpected flat tire. The tire was completely ruined, and we barely made it off the exit ramp in Litchfield to get the tire repaired. As we proceeded to put air in the tire to drive 1/4 mile to the nearest tire repair, the tire blew... it was the loudest pop, and people came running over as it was like a gun shot. The truck stop/ gas station attendants recommended calling Curts Towing for assistance. This incident took place at 1235PM on a weekday, and not only did a courteous repairman pick us up within 5 minutes, and tow our car, they had a new tire installed and we were on our way back to STL by 1:15 PM. On a windy, blustery Sunday morning, December 20th 2015 I had a tire blow out on highway 55 near Litchfield Il. Thanks to the help from an Officer Winks on the Litchfield Police Dept ( I think that is where he was from) this 67 year old woman traveling to see her daughter in Decatur was rescued. I called my daughter, she called the Illinois State Police dept. They sent Officer Winks who called Curt's towing who came quickly and changed my flat and put on the donut in no time. Curt's was quick, courteous, reliable and his rate was extremely reasonable. I went from not knowing what to do to being on my way in about an hour thanks to the Officer and Curt's.
