I made an appointment with Maria and described to her what I had in mind. As soon as I walked into her shop I knew I was in the right place! She listened, drew a sketch, took detailed measurements, made a pattern and over the course of a few months created the MOST beautiful dress, using exquisite fabric and impeccable design! (She used Earl Grey tea to dye the lace for the hem so that the color would match perfectly) I met with Maria several times over those few months and it proved to be one of the highlights of the entire wedding experience. She is talented and fun and so happy about what she does! I brought my daughter to one of the fittings so that she could meet this amazing woman! Maria put her heart into my dress and not only is it exactly what I had envisioned, it is a work of art.

My Customer pick up item was not in the bin when I arrived and we were assisted by this young man who looked through every single bin in the hopes of finding it and when he could not, he refunded the order with a merchandise credit and helped me locate the items that were on that order, even looking "on the dock" for one of the items when my size was not on the racks. This young man was friendly, apologetic and eager to help and made this bad experience better. I did speak to Manager Chris about this employees excellent service, so I do hope he was acknowledged as he deserves it.

We went through the toy section and were pleasantly surprised at seeing Leggos on sale with a table on which several unicorn Lego toys were placed next to a 30% off placard. We got several among other toys. Got to the register and the cashier rang one at full price. Upon our challenge, he started "apparently it depends on the unicorn". Take out or leave it. To put items on a table marked 30% off and then ring the item at full price is horrible ethics. Sadly, we have been assiduous Kohls customers, especially during holiday season.

Vermont Flannel sell shirts, pajamas, robes, blankets, hoodies and a number of smaller items like tea cozies and socks. They cut their scraps into 4" squares and package them into a kit that you can use to make a patchwork quilt. When we were there, there were two young women running the store. One was very experienced and the other appeared to be learning. The one learning was sewing samples of new products while we were there. The service was excellent and we ended up buying a robe for my wife and pajamas for our daughter. They have stores around Vermont.

She then watched as I spent 15 minutes shopping and picking things out, and then rudely told me, after she watched me try to open a fitting room at 6:45, that she closed the fitting room at 6:30 for sanitizing. What? That is a closing job and takes all of a minute. The next store I went to had their rooms open until 7. They lost all my business that night. So unnecessary and rude. I notice that there have been similar reviews of this staff member on Yelp and I hope management sees this.
